Alex brings a refreshing perspective to the topics of global warming, CO2, energy, and so on, in that he uses human life as the standard of value. Alex brings overwhelming evidence that mankind's use of fossil fuels is supremely virtuous because using fossil fuels transforms our environment to make it wonderful for human life. The Green Movement puts human life way behind "untouched nature", and in more cases than not, they will be quite honest about the low value they place on human life. I think you'll enjoy this wonderful red-pilling perspective on this topic.

My guest this week is the great writer, Peter Van Buren. He is here to give his humorous take and brilliant insights on the insane moment that we are living through right now. Many on the left have been paralyzed by a fear of leaving the house, and they're pushing their religion of Statism and Fear on the rest of us. They have become like rescue dogs, constantly imagining new fears and odd things to freak out about. Apparently, the same people that have promised Trump is a Russian spy, we have to take out Assad, Trump will cause a depression after he takes office, Robert Mueller will change everything, and so on and so on are now telling us that locking down an economy and not allowing people to work is the only way to save humanity. They're also telling us that now, believing "all women" isn't a priority like it was during the Kavanaugh hearings. Can you believe these people? Do their loud monotonous voices drive you crazy? Ep. 103: This Bust Wasn't Caused by a Virus, with Mark Thornton May 04, 2020

My guest this week is Mises Institute Senior Fellow and Austrian Economist, Dr Mark Thornton. Mark discusses the economic downturn we are currently in, and it's one that he and many other Austrian economists predicted. It wasn't caused by the coronavirus, although the virus may have been the straw that broke the camel's back. The symptoms of this bust have been in place much longer than the symptoms of the coronavirus. The fundamentals were weak, and the Federal Reserve, as usual, is the problem, not the cure. Dr. Thornton details what went wrong, what will make it worse, the systemic damage that the shutdown is causing, and the long term effects of this all. He also discusses what would help things and what we should've done from the start.

Ep. 102: An "America First" U.S. Military is Now a Must, with Doug Bandow Apr 27, 2020

My guest today is Cato Institute Senior Fellow, Doug Bandow. Doug wrote a recent article called, "Now's the Time to Become a Truly 'America First' Military". This coronavirus mess has not only caused an economic shut down and disaster, but congress has voted to spend trillions of dollars to help "fix" things. We now know that drastic changes at the federal level will be necessary. There is simply not enough money for grandiose ideas at that level, so it's now time to end the wars and start pulling the troops home... from everywhere. We couldn't afford the global military adventures before. We certainly can't afford them now. So it is time to do what people like Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan have been saying for years: bring the troops home and defend the United States from home.
