    This is a compilation of segments from Cougar Sports Saturday on July 27th, 2019.

    Mitch Harper and Matt Baiamonte talk about Nick Emery's retirement and how it affects BYU's roster. Fall Camp is the big topic this week, and the guys had Mitchell Juergens on to help preview Fall Camp and talk about the storylines going into camp. Mitch, Matt and producer Dallen give their bold predictions for camp. Brian Buckey comes on to Know the Foe, and this week it's the Toledo Rockets. Alex Kirry comes on to recap Pac-12 Media Day and Steve Lassan joins to talk about his thoughts on a potential breakout year for QB Zach Wilson.


    Bold Predictions for Fall Camp Jul 27, 2019

    Mitch, Matt and Dallen give their bold predictions for BYU Fall Camp. Mitch says that Isaiah Kaufusi will move to MLB, Darius McFarland will be the #2 TE and that Jaren Hall will play a 'Taysom Hill' type role for BYU. Matt says Jake Oldroyd will win the kicking job, Micah Simon will emerge as a solid WR and there will be no season-ending injuries. Dallen says that Ty'Son Williams will win the RB job, Chaz Ah You will be a starter on defense and that we will emerge from Fall Camp with no worries about the WR group.


    What Are The Odds? Jul 27, 2019

    Producer Dallen Graff comes in for this week's What Are The Odds? This week is NFL Training Camp edition, with the guys talking about which BYU players will make rosters or claim the starting spot on their teams. The guys don't feel good about the odds of Harvey Langi making the roster for the Jets, but they like Bronson Kaufusi making the team and having an impact. Matt says 100% certainty that Taysom Hill throws a TD this season and both feel 100% confident that Sione Takitaki will start for the Browns this season.


    Know the Foe: Toledo Jul 27, 2019

    Brian Buckey from the Toledo Blade joins Mitch and Matt to preview the September match-up between BYU and the Toledo Rockets. QB Mitchell Guadagni is entering his senior season with a lot of hype and this Toledo team has hype, picked to win the MAC West and compete in the conference. Brian says this team can score and he expects the same going into this 2019 season. The expectations for this team are high this year, having a comfortable conference schedule and a chance to show up in the non-conference match-ups they have.


    Top 10 BYU Players in 2019: No. 5 James Empey Jul 27, 2019

    C James Empey comes in at #5 in the KSL Sports Top 10. He's coming off a freshmen All-American nod last year and has emerged as a leader on a very good offensive line. The guys are excited that Empey gets to play with Zach Wilson throughout both of their BYU careers, bringing much needed stability for BYU's QB.


    Utah's Hype Grows and so does the Pressure for Week One Jul 27, 2019

    KSL's Unrivaled host Alex Kirry joins Mitch and Matt to recap Pac-12 Media Day this week. Alex talks about the hype for Utah, having been voted by media to win the Pac-12 this year. Most within the Pac-12 think the hype is real with this team, which will put even more pressure on the week 1 match up with BYU. Alex also gives his thoughts on BYU Fall Camp, saying Zach Wilson's health is the most important story line for camp and that Jaren Hall needs to emerge as a quality backup.


    Who's the New QBU? Jul 27, 2019

    Producer Dallen Graff comes on for this week's Top 5 list. The guys talk about ESPN's article about the modern day Position U and which teams produce the best talent at certain positions. Mitch and Matt guess the Top 5 schools for QB's and the game ended in a tie, meaning they are BOTH losers this week!


    Zach Wilson is Poised for a Breakout Season Jul 27, 2019

    Steve Lassan of Athlon Sports joins Mitch and Matt to talk about a list he wrote for 25 breakout QB's in college football this year. Zach Wilson is #12 on the list, and Steve thinks the tough four game stretch to start the season is a big reason why he ended up so high on the list. Steve loved what he saw from Zach in year one and he thinks he will have a very nice sophomore season.


    Special Teams is Very Important Jul 27, 2019

    Mitch and Matt continue the conversation about Fall Camp and potential position battles we will see during camp. The guys talk about the questions at special teams, especially punter, and how important that is to have solid guys. They also talk about the question at linebacker and who is going to fill the hole that Sione Takitaki left behind in route to the NFL.


    Mitchell Juergens says BYU Needs Solid WR Depth Jul 27, 2019

    BYU sideline reporter Mitchell Juergens joins the guys to talk about Fall Camp and what he will be watching closely. For Mitchell, he is looking at the WR depth, especially with a more upbeat offense. He wants to know who is going to step up and be solid in the rotation. Mitchell likes Talon Shumway and sees the importance of having three solid WRs on the team. Mitchell thinks Lopini Katoa is going to emerge and be the guy to win the RB job. Mitchell also likes Chaz Ah You on the defensive side of the ball who could step up and be a playmaker.
