A movie with a very large nostalgia factor is nearly ruined by a very bad dad.

Everyone's favorite teen-of-the-future is back and up to more shenanigans. Shenanigans that *very* closely resemble Ceri's guess from our last episode.

The Disney Channel closed out the year with a middling movie about weather and Santa. We were underwhelmed by the movie but very impressed with Ceri's plot guess.

This movie has glimmers of Ceri's Scooby Doo dreams, but did it live up to the story she predicted for us? It did give us a chance to get real meta about our Disney Channel Original Movie rankings & get nostalgic about when we could go to movie theaters. (Remember movie theaters???)

We watched Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire and the most important revelation was HOW CLOSE CERI'S GUESS WAS. Bailey's Kids books for the win.

Back in October we watched another DCOM and it turned out to be a Lawrence brother movie – and remarkably close to Ceri's guess from the previous episode. (I know that was 392 days of March ago, but trust me.) What none of us anticipated: our protagonist spends about a third of the movie forced to stay inside his room, which starts out fun and then becomes terrible. We are not making this up, this is what actually happened. Anyway, this episode is a real journey and topics include: this movie's many unanswered ethical questions, making friends through the power of dance, the early 2000's soap opera Passions, and a lot of other stuff.

Quints is a movie in which a family has five babies and that's pretty much the whole plot. In this episode we decide whether we liked it anyway, discussed metro riding biker gangs, lamented the neglect of poor Brad, and tried to figure out where this movie even takes place.

Hello! It has been a while! We recorded this episode back in mid-May and never uploaded it due initially to not wanting to take up space during the initial wave of protests for Black lives and against police violence and then kept delaying it because life. But here it is! This moment of joy we all had talking to our friends about whether or not we were horse girls and what great family traditions we are upholding and abandoning. Also, as usual someone surprised themselves with the number of feelings they had about this movie.

This movie features a grab bag of DCOM tropes, from enemies-to-friends to parents-not-believing-the-main-character, alongside another bizarre sport and some aliens.
