    Conservative Review with Daniel Horowitz

In Washington, politicians are full of half-truths and hot air. They do little more than grandstanding by spouting off talking points and spin. The Conservative Review with Daniel Horowitz is here to help you cut through the rhetoric and noise and explore the politically right way to think about the issues .

The Shadow Governments Destroying Red States | 8/14/25 Aug 14, 2025
    Show notes

A bigger concern than redistricting to eke out a few more seats in the hopeless federal uniparty fake fight is to actually make red states red. Today, I show a powerful contrast between Florida and every other red state in terms of executive enforcement of conservative policies. We’re joined today by Noah Wall, president and founder of the State Leadership Initiative, who is focused on ridding red states of liberal agency heads and bureaucrats. He has published a report about over 20 national associations of state agency directors that set woke policies for red states and brainwash a lot of red-state agency heads into implementing blue-state policies. Wall is on a mission to make red states red again by withdrawing from these groups and establishing parallel associations that build a base of effective leaders to implement conservative policies in each state agency.

Trump Is at a Crossroads on Crime Policy | 8/13/25 Aug 13, 2025
    Show notes

Trump’s decision to highlight the D.C. crime bubble and deploy the National Guard provides him with a chance to actually bring back Reagan’s views on crime. Sadly, Republicans have bought into the jailbreak agenda that is responsible for this crime wave. Today, I focus particularly on the problem of juvenile crime and the lack of deterrent. We’re joined by crime expert Sean Kennedy, who explains how urban police departments like D.C. are downgrading and not recording crimes, thereby allowing public data to show a drop in crime, which conflicts with the reality on the streets. He explains how well-funded “right-leaning” groups take Soros cash to push weak-on-crime laws in red states while feigning outrage over Soros prosecutors pushing the same policies. Finally, I offer over a dozen ideas for red states to get tougher on crime.

Will the Coming Recession Be Different from the Past?  | 8/12/25 Aug 12, 2025
    Show notes

We’ve been languishing through a zombie economy that is highly concentrated and asymmetrical for quite some time, but our guest today is predicting an official recession in the near future. We’re joined today by investment manager Edward Dowd, co-founder of Phinance Technologies, for "a state of the union" of our economy. He explains why the only way to tame inflation will be a popping of the housing and stock market bubbles. He explains why he believes we are on the cusp of such a crash. We go through consumer debt, housing, gold, Bitcoin, and so much more to prove how we are living on the cusp of another reset opportunity. The question is whether this time will be different and the government will allow us to recover organically or whether it will continue printing money to create new artificial monopolies and asset bubbles. Finally, Dowd provides us with some very disturbing data on long-term disability in this country and what it means.

A Movement of God, Gold, and Land vs. Pay-for-Play AI Cronyism | 8/11/25 Aug 11, 2025
    Show notes

What we needed and were promised in this populist revolution was a party focused on God, real currency, landowners over corporate scavengers, and privacy and values over digital degenerates. Instead, Trump has ushered in a new era of pay-for-play corporate politics that is handing our economy to a handful of AI companies. And now, with the Nvidia chip deal, it even negates our national security. Meanwhile, Democrats are already planning the most aggressive tenure of control ever when they reclaim power. What will we have to show for our tenure of control by then other than negative efficacy? We also discuss the Republicans' duplicitous fight against D.C. crime while they continue to push for the very “criminal justice reform” that goes soft on juvenile criminals terrorizing the nation’s capital. Finally, why is the Trump DOJ siding with Obama on a lawless visa program against American worker plaintiffs?

Why Does Con Inc. Continue to Ignore Red-State Primaries? | 8/8/25 Aug 08, 2025
    Show notes

How can you drain the swamp if we not only ignore the primaries but remain silent as Trump continues to endorse every RINO, even in the reddest states, and even those who subvert his agenda? I discuss how too many people are focusing on redistricting as the panacea, when in fact the problem is in primaries because many of the Trump-endorsed RINOs are refusing to draw better districts. Next, I offer some more thoughts on how demonic and unfeasible the data center dystopia is and how local grassroots continue to push back against it. Finally, we need leaders who will be honest about the economy and the affordability crisis and explain how in order to make life more affordable, we must unwind the very policies that have created asset bubbles in housing and the stock market. Unfortunately, because we have slept in primaries for 10 years, our politicians only respond to the special interests that benefit from the asset bubbles.

The Golden Era of Crony Capitalism & Venture Socialism | 8/7/25 Aug 07, 2025
    Show notes

Trump promised to “re-privatize” the economy so that it reflects small businesses and the forgotten man. Instead, he is steering the economy to a handful of Big Tech companies more than his predecessor. Today, I show in vivid detail how Big Tech is getting special favors, including exceptions from tariffs, regulatory relief, federal land offers, federal tax credits, re-zoning favors, and state and local tax exemptions to promote the data center digital colonization of America that a free and fair market could never sustain. The government is digging us so deep into the pockets of these companies that once the data center bubble pops, it will be too big to fail and we will be stuck holding the bag. I contrast this model to the state of the economy for most Americans and small businesses, and the contrast could not be greater.

With Con Inc., It’s One Small Step Forward, One Giant Step Backward | 8/6/25 Aug 06, 2025
    Show notes

How is it that during the era of Trump and Con Inc. Twitter, we seem to embrace so many good ideas, and Trump even embarks on implementing some of them, yet over time we continue to slide backward? It’s because there is no follow-through and the Left evolves to bigger playing fields. I explain the "small step forward, giant leap backward" dynamic in terms of immigration, crime, abortion, culture, techno-fascism from COVID, and digital currency. Also, what is the endgame of the AI data-center agenda? There is some good news, as local residents in some counties are successfully fighting back. Red-state land rights are the civil right of our time, and you should feel empowered that we could battle this all on the local level.

    What a Venture Socialist Economy Looks Like | 8/5/25 Aug 05, 2025
    Show notes

Imagine an economy dominated by one industry — AI — in which all of the growth comes from a few companies, yet they are yielding few jobs. Well, that is the economy we are living in today. The very deficit spending that has crushed affordability for consumers has propped up a handful of companies. Today, I explain how the AI data center economy is unnatural and only facilitated by government policies, but consumers will be left holding the bag when the bubble pops. Next, we’re joined by Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) from the road, who updates us on everything he’s been working on — from the Texas floods and the spending bills to health care and immigration. He explains how he has to balance fighting for liberty in a body with few Republicans who share our values. He also raises concerns about the fake economy in health care being modeled now in tech. Texas is one of the biggest targets for data centers gobbling up water during a time of drought. Finally, will Chip take his energy to state politics?

Special Interests vs. the Whole of the People | 8/4/25 Aug 04, 2025
    Show notes

Trump promised to govern for the whole of the people rather than special interests. Sadly, this administration has become a conduit for Big Tech and every special interest under the sun. This is why the DHS is now fighting a bipartisan effort to block TSA from using your biometric information gathered at airports. Sadly, Republicans have no narrative on housing, health care, and inflation and are too busy claiming the economy is good. They also have no answer for judicial supremacism, which is worse than ever before. Finally, I update you on the latest fight with AI data centers and show how we could galvanize a bipartisan rebellion among the people if we had a party that wasn’t bought out by special interests.

What Happened to the Forgotten American? | 8/1/25 Aug 01, 2025
    Show notes

Trump promised to fight for the forgotten American rather than special interests, but 10 years later, he has now consolidated his mission behind Big Tech and its technochracy that is antithetical to the forgotten man. We begin by going through the employment and economic data and how the forgotten man is getting crushed while this administration gaslights people into thinking we are in a golden age. Next, we focus on how judicial supremacism is essentially grinding immigration enforcement to a halt. Finally, I show how every rural part of America is being colonized by digital dystopian monstrosities that are sucking out enough power to account for the needs of 1 million households. Trump’s core voters are starting to fight back against these land-grabs, but where are the national voices? This is the next COVID
