    Conservative Review with Daniel Horowitz

In Washington, politicians are full of half-truths and hot air. They do little more than grandstanding by spouting off talking points and spin. The Conservative Review with Daniel Horowitz is here to help you cut through the rhetoric and noise and explore the politically right way to think about the issues .

We’ve Officially Reached Economic Checkmate with the Debt | 9/3/25 Sep 03, 2025
    Show notes

We begin with a deep discussion on how Con Inc. continues to congratulate itself for incremental results … in yesterday’s battles, while ignoring the more dire ones in front of us today. This ties into the economy, where we have the administration continuing to misdiagnose the housing crisis as a supply issue when in fact the opposite is true. The government plans to double down on all of the asset-juicing policies that got us into this mess. The debt is so bad that the global bond markets are rebelling against governments and central banks because they know that the debt has become a financial juggernaut. So now that we are in financial checkmate, our government is trying to gaslight us into believing that AI will be a savior of the economy, which is why the administration is attempting to create the mother lode of all asset bubbles to try to solve everything it did wrong with the previous bubbles.

What Exactly Is the Purpose of Conservative Media? | 9/2/25 Sep 02, 2025
    Show notes

Now that summer is over and Congress is back, what is the Republicans' raison d'être? Where is their vision to improve the economy? What is the plan to accomplish any campaign promise? I go through numerous cases on immigration, social issues, and tariffs to show how the courts are mowing down every last accomplishment. On the economy, not only do Republicans not have a plan, Trump continues to say prices are down. I explain how Republicans will get slaughtered in the midterms if they continue to gaslight on the economy. Meanwhile, there is no plan to get in better Republicans in the primaries, as RINOs continue to thwart Trump and get away with it. Also, there is more news on AI being a bubble and hype, yet the government continues to give the industry special favors.

The Coming Housing Collapse and What It Means | 8/29/25 Aug 29, 2025
    Show notes

We all railed against the artificially created asset bubbles that have destroyed affordability and upward mobility. Yet every policy Republicans seem to pursue has doubled down on those same factors. I do a quick roundup of economic news and news on data centers to show how we are pouring lighter fluid on a raging dumpster fire of an economy that Republicans claim is a “golden era.” We’re joined by Melody Wright, a housing and mortgage expert, who is warning of the imminent collapse of the housing market. She explains unequivocally how the housing crisis is absolutely not the result of a supply issue, and in fact, the opposite is true. It was created by debt slavery induced by government incentives and interventions. We also tie in the housing crisis to the AI data centers to show how they continue to inflate bubbles and crush landowners rather than allowing the economy to reset.

Now Is the Time to Reverse 'Gay Marriage' | 8/28/25 Aug 28, 2025
    Show notes

The Minnesota trans-identifying shooter is part of a dangerous trend of psychosis among those pumped with chemical castration drugs. Conservatives must use this opportunity to ban all forms of castration, not just for children but for adults as well. At the same time, we must remember that transgenderism flows directly from Obergefell and the false concept of a same-sex marriage. We’re joined by Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel, who believes his client, Kim Davis, is on the cusp of forcing the Supreme Court to overturn Obergefell. We discuss the legal case for overturning the decision and why anyone who voted for the Dobbs opinion is bound to reverse this decision because Obergefell is even more legally indefensible than Roe v. Wade. We also discuss the need to build political momentum in the states and expose the travesty of same-sex adoptions so that we don’t make the same mistakes we did with Dobbs — winning the legal fight while losing the political fight in the states.

The Vision on Health Care Conservatives Badly Need | 8/27/25 Aug 27, 2025
    Show notes

Republicans got crushed in another deep-red district special election. They will continue to lose so long as they have no plan, vision, and message on how to bring down prices. The biggest cost to our national debt inflation and the individual pocketbook is health care. Republicans have lacked a vision on this issue for more than a decade. We’re joined today by Brian Blase, president of the Paragon Health Institute, who is trying to provide that vision. He warns that there is a bipartisan effort to renew the Biden COVID credits that incentivize more fraud and grift in the medical insurance industry, create more inflationary debt, and disincentivize bringing down costs. We cover the gambit of health care problems and conservative solutions throughout the discussion. The bottom line is that Republicans need a vision on bringing down costs, busting up monopolies, and fostering choice and competition.

We Must Right the Ship on Immigration Mandate Before It’s Too Late | 8/26/25 Aug 26, 2025
    Show notes

We begin today with a discussion of why the flag-burning issue is irrelevant at a time of economic collapse and shaky immigration policies. Trump has an opportunity to harness an auspicious economic message by getting rid of foreign worker and student visas, yet he is calling for more of the worst sorts of visas from the worst countries. We’re joined by R.J. Hauman, founder of the National Immigration Center for Enforcement, for a state of the union on immigration enforcement. He expresses concern that too much of the DHS funding has gone toward “deportation theater” rather than creating a durable and efficient long-term deportation system. We also touch on the fact that lobbyists and special interests have a stranglehold on the administration and GOP and continue to push endless foreign workers at a time when it is so unpopular.

The Unrelenting War on American Land | 8/25/25 Aug 25, 2025
    Show notes

We begin today by pointing out how the very right-wingers we used to count on to fight against globalist monopolies, such as taking equity in Intel and promoting data centers, are now standing down because they rely on one man for political viability. Next, we’re joined by South Dakota rancher Amanda Radke, who discusses the multifront war on ranchers by wind, solar, carbon capture, and data centers. Politicians like South Dakota Rep. Dusty Johnson (R) are trying to pass special favors for carbon capture and data centers. Not only are these propositions harmful in their own right, but as Amanda explains, they are taking critical farmland out of production. She paints a picture of what a true free-market land-use and agriculture policy looks like and how we need to end massive subsidies for big corporations that box out independent ranchers.

Raping the Land with Big Tech Data Centers | 8/22/25 Aug 22, 2025
    Show notes

After today’s show, you will fully understand why data centers are the most important issue of our time — and not in a good way. Weaving in my trip to beautiful Tucker County, West Virginia — ground zero for the rape of our mountains and farmland by Big Tech — I explain how conservative rural voters are being left in the dark and stripped of any legal authority to fight the data centers. Meanwhile, the data center model is already failing to produce results, yet is increasingly relying on shocking government tax favors and land-use rights. Republicans are actually worse on this issue than Democrats. Cloud storage for chat boxes is designed to turn humans into machines rather than using machines to benefit humans.

Are You Involved in Politics to Be Someone or to Get Stuff Done? | 8/18/25 Aug 18, 2025
    Show notes

Today, we replay our extra-long July Fourth show, with a fresh introduction that makes it more relevant today than last month. I tie in the lessons and ideals of the founding fathers to the time we are living in today. Weaving together the final thoughts on the budget reconciliation bill and judicial tyranny, I demonstrate how MAGA Inc. is subverting its own stated beliefs because it’s easier to declare victory on false hope rather than actually fight for results. As I predicted, the Supreme Court ruling on universal injunctions did nothing to stop the judicial tyranny. I list six reasons why that ruling was subversive. Yet MAGA leaders continue to perpetuate the myth of judicial supremacism in the Constitution when it flies in the face of the entire principle we celebrate on July Fourth. We need to have a plan. MAGA Inc.’s plan is to grift on social media off fake victories. It is incumbent upon us to formulate a real plan — if not federally, at least in a few states.

Yes, We Are in a Silent Economic Depression | 8/15/25 Aug 15, 2025
    Show notes

We’re joined on today’s special show by Craig Shapiro, a macroeconomic and investment strategist who is willing to call balls and strikes on political economy. He discusses Trump’s campaign message and promise to rebalance our K-shaped economy to work more for Main Street. He shows how each thing this administration is doing is designed to benefit Big Tech and cronies over the forgotten man and small businesses. He also explains how the asymmetric economy has allowed us to avoid an official recession for years while most people continue to struggle in a silent depression. We cover everything from housing and inflation to credit and political economy. It is a very sobering conversation but one we need to hear if we want to avoid a complete socialist takeover in the next few elections.
