If you've ever felt "stuck", like you can't get out of the rut you're in, or you find yourself falling into the same ol' habits despite your biggest desires to change them, this one's for you!

In this episode, I share a couple of real life examples of how I broke things down into the very tiny steps that were both holding me back AND the key to making progress.

    2. Analyze them to figure out where they are coming from and what action you're taking them because of them.

    3. Adjust them to serve you better.

    4. Set your big goals, then don't forget to break them down into the simplest of steps - one that you can take action on TODAY.

    5. Continue to do this over and over. As you keep more promises to yourself, your confidence will grow.

    37. *BONUS* Real Talk: What IS coaching? And why we do it with Kaelyn Hedges Jun 09, 2022
    Show notes

This entire podcast would not be here if it weren't for the fact that I got really pissed at my husband one day, my love of health and fitness, and a network marketing company. Whether you're familiar with the business model or not, the crazy impact that it's had on my life is undeniable. It was kind of a gateway drug for me into the online business world and the opportunity and potential it has to generate extra income - which honestly, I have shied away from because of my own insecurities. But no more! Especially in today's world, we need more money in the hands of people who want to do good, make an impact, and leave a legacy so our children have more opportunities and a beautiful world to grow up in.

One of the many beautiful things it brought into my life is who you'll hear (or see if you're listening on Spotify!) today - Kaelyn Hedges. Kaelyn is a fellow nurse and boymom from Oklahoma who was in a similar boat after she had her first baby and was looking for a way to get into shape while caring for an infant. You'll hear us talk about the serendipitous way that we met and ask eachother questions about coaching.

We share these stories to 1. Let you in on what it looks like to be a working mother with a side gig and how we fit it in and 2. To show you what possible. We have been lucky enough to have wonderful people do that for us and we have a deep desire to pay it forward to you!

If you want to learn more about what we do or are ready to join our New Coach Mentorship, you can visit the private Facebook group and when you answer the membership questions, write "Podcast". There you'll find more details and how you can get started with your own business TODAY - Request to join here --> Coach Sneak Peek Group

And real quick, because I want to know what YOU want, sent me a DM if you're interested in hearing more online business talk! This is actually a huge part of my life and as I step into my word of the year - BOLD - you'll hear me talking more about it and how you can do it too!

If you're not ready yet, that's cool too! I thank you SO much for your support and being part of my life - whether that's here or on social or in real life. I would be absolutely tickled if you left a review letting me know what you love about the show - even better, what would you love to hear about?!?! Maybe you'll get a shout out on future episodes!

    35. The "Enjoy every moment!" conundrum May 30, 2022
    Show notes

Do you ever get a super cringy feeling when a stranger at the grocery store or Aunt Sally lets out the ol' "Oh you're gonna miss this!" Or "Every every moment! It goes by so fast!" Ugh, it takes physical effort for me not to roll my eyes and puke in my mouth a little. As well meaning as I'm sure they are, these phrases tend to bring up gross feelings of self-judgement and guilt for me.

Here are a few ways I'm moving through this to be able to yes, enjoy my children, and also give myself some compassion as I learn and grow into this motherhood thing.

Help me spread the word that motherhood can be beautiful in its messiness; that we can take radical responsibility for our lives; AND it is 100% possible to live a life you're freaking pumped about, on your terms. Leave a review wherever you're listening!

    34. Real talk about current events and wondering what the hell we can do about it May 26, 2022
    Show notes

It seems like every other day, our world get shaken by some tragedy. I feel like we're almost desensitized to it and it devastates me. I get so overwhelmed thinking about the absolute heartbreak people are experiencing everyday while I'm over here living my life thinking it'll never happen.

So how can someone like me or you, who may not have all the power or money in the world truly make a difference?

I believe we can. And it starts with US. In our homes and how we take care of ourselves.

As always, if you found any sort of value in this episode, I would be ever so grateful if you left a review wherever you're listening so we can get the message out to more women.

    33. How you can eat whatever you want & still reach your fitness goals May 16, 2022
    Show notes

Fitness is about more than workouts and calories in, calories out. Of course you can see progress with sheer motivation and discipline. But if you want lifelong, sustainable results that feel effortless and don't leave you pissed off at the fact that you don't allow yourself certain foods or that you didn't close all the rings on your watch today...you have to work on the mindset and why behind all the effort. In this episode, I share the mindset shifts I made, specifically around food, that helped me heal my toxic relationship with food, feel more ease around eating, and see the physical results I wanted. Takeaways: 1. It's not really about the food. It's about figuring out what you actually want. 2. Take the pressure off. Think about what and why you are truly making certain foods off limits. Is it due to an actual allergy or intolerance? Take some time to think about why you're eating something before you label it. Give yourself permission to eat whatever you want! When you make certain things off limits, you tend to want them even more. 3. Your worth does not depend on what you eat. You are not good or bad based on the kind of food you consume. Food lives on a spectrum and you are in control of what kinds of food you eat and how much of them you consume. 4. BONUS! The scale...If you had no way to weigh yourself for the rest of your life, would you continue doing what you're doing? What other ways could you measure your health and progress? Let's connect! 32. People Pleasers - Listen Up! May 10, 2022
    Show notes

Ever find yourself being asked where you want to go eat and saying "It doesn't matter." Except it does. You really DO have an opinion, you're just worried about what people might think or that someone won't like your suggestion so you play Switzerland.

    Enough!

As a recovering people pleaser, I'm sharing some of the obvious and not so obvious ways that I fell into this category and more importantly, how I'm choosing myself more and more everyday over other. Selfish? For sure. Because at the end of my life, I want to be confident in knowing that I valued my own opinion over the opinion of Susie down the street or Aunt Linda or Jessica from senior year.

Do you resonate?! What tips will you start implementing now to honor yourself more?

Feel like this is a worthy listen? A review would be SO appreciated and will help spread the word to other moms out there who have forgotten their worth and need a little weekly reminder, so leave one! 5 Stars would be great thanks ;P

And might as well come hang out with me on Instagram! @shannonracheltaylor
