    TINA DENOFF Mar 05, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, Celeste talks with Tina Denoff, proving to us that at any age, at any time, and with any other obligations you can still prioritize yourself. She is a mother of two and has 3 fur babies as well living in sunny Florida after years of Michigan winters. Priding herself as a natural athlete this competitor started her journey in the NPC in 2019 and just went pro in October 2020 at teen collegiate and masters nationals winning first in her bikini masters over 50 class and 2nd in masters over 45 Celeste starts off the episode by asking Tina if she has a specific ritual she performs before hitting the stage. Tina shares the many rituals she has that all play a crucial role in her daily life and throughout the various stages of her prep. Celeste mentions the importance of precision with habits and rituals not just daily but leading up to show day. Next, Celeste mentions Tina's commitment to implement the habit of "rest, reconnect, and listen" and has Tina share how she plans on prioritizing that goal. Tina discusses the importance the gym has in her routine and how, although it is a hobby, she is lucky to be able to compete yet that she must remember the importance of also setting aside time to be present with her family. Next, Celeste asks Tina if this is a lifestyle she had always led or something she came to adopt. Moving forward, Tina opens up and shares that finding the gym was an accident. She talks about her past as a runner and how an ice skating injury which resulted in ACL surgery ultimately led to her finding resistance training, as her doctor had recommended she not return to running. Tina discusses how she started researching and changing up her diet on her own as something to help with inflammation issues she was experiencing post surgery. Then, somewhat by chance, she found that combination of her new diet and light resistance training at home sparked her interest and she found herself signing up for her first gym membership, and then hiring a trainer. She explains the feelings she had while watching her physique begin to evolve and progress with the more time she spent in the gym. Tina also shares a time of personal hardship and the gratitude she felt for the community her gym has blessed her with. After seeing how her body was changing, Tina started to be asked if she was going to compete. Those questions inspired her to research the sport and from there she contacted her first coach. Together, they both decided it was time for Tina to start training for her first competition. Tina mentions that she "started from zero," learning the basics such as "what is a macro?" and how to properly train for a show. After sharing her beginnings in the sport, Tina dives into the details of her cringe-worthy story from her experience at North Americans, her first national show. She mentions how the day was "off" from the beginning and what unraveled from there. Tina shares not only the mishaps from her admitted lack of attention to detail in preparation for prejudging but how she eventually made it to the stage. Tina recounts, from start to finish, every mishap and mistake that she encountered and overcame, but also shares the main takeaways of what the experience as a whole taught her. Among those mistakes included one of the biggest any competitor could make - missing her class for finals. Upon turning to the hotel room with feelings of both disbelief and disappointment, Tina found herself in a difficult place mentally, debating whether or not she should continue to pursue her pro card in Orlando the following month. She felt conflicted, having prepped for so long and not wanting to continue without the support from her family. Celeste asks Tina about her decision to go ahead and compete in Orlando and what she did to prepare her mindset for this next challenge after all the difficulties North Americans presented. After sharing her experiences in Orlando, Celeste asks Tina what she has been focusing on since winning her pro card. Tina shares how she has approached her improvement season and what she is planning in terms of her pro debut. Celeste asks Tina more about why she chooses not to share progress photos unless she's in a cutting phase and the strategy and reasoning behind it. Next, Celeste asks Tina about her family's thoughts on competing, and how she told her family and friends about wanting to embrace this new lifestyle. From there, Tina talks about the nature of her relationship with her husband, and how they consciously make time for one another and prioritize their relationship, despite being quite opposite. Tina also discusses the areas of life in which she feels she lacks balance while in prep and acknowledges that while bodybuilding is a hobby that she values dearly, she needs to make the experience both enjoyable for herself and for those around her. To conclude the episode, Tina shares her best advice for native competitors and for the girls on their road to pro and then shares how listeners can find and connect with her further. DR. IRINA POST Feb 26, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, Celeste speaks with Irina Post, a Russian immigrant who came to the US to pursue her American Dream, working diligently to put herself through school to become a pharmacist, and found bodybuilding after countless attempts at fad diets. Irina first competed in 2014, being inspired by bikini girls she saw on social media. Due to life's ups and downs she took a break from competing, yet made her return to the stage in 2019 after passing her boards and seeking new coaching, & obtained her pro card at USAs in 2020.

Starting off the episode, Irina shares the routine she performs before her heel hits the stage. Next Celeste mentions the five year break from competing, asking Irina when she knew it was time to step away, and what fueled her decision to return. Irina talks about her reaching out to work with Whitney Jones, the initial plan for her prep, and the changes they had to make because of show cancellations and postponements due to Covid. Irina also shares how her diet approach became macro based as opposed to meal plans, and she shares how she adjusted to this new method for her contest prep nutrition.

Celeste also asks Irina how, despite the uncertainty, she and her coaches worked together to combat her plateaus and "sticking points" since her prep was longer than originally anticipated. Irina discusses how she had to make the decision to continue to prep or take a step back and try to get pregnant, as that was something she and her husband had been talking about before starting the season.

Irina shares her feedback she received from her first show of the year, the Arnold Amateur, and describes how she and Whitney strategized so that Irina peaked properly going into USAs. Noting the passion and desire Irina had to assure she was bringing nothing short of her best to the national stage,

Celeste asks if Irina trusted and followed her coach's protocol, or if she asked for modifications to her plan. Irina shares how her prep changed in the final weeks leading up to the show, and Celeste asks Irina about the feelings she experienced hearing her name being called for her pro card. Irina shares where her mindset was at during her prep as she became busier than expected at her pharmacy job due to periods of work being short staffed during Covid.

She mentions that between long commutes, twelve hour shifts, and feeling like she was "running on fumes," winning her pro card at her first national show wasn't in the front of her mind. Celeste then mentions Irina's proximity to snagging the overall title and what feedback she received from the judges.

While on the topic of winning her pro card, Celeste touches on the fact that Irina's husband, who is also a competitor, won his pro card as well, and asked Irina what it was like for them to turn pro at the same show. Irina tells listeners that, while excited to celebrate her husband's success, she also felt pressured to bring home her pro card as well.

Moving on, the two women discuss Irina's approach to diet and training post show, as she had mentioned how her and her husband had wanted to try and have a baby. Irina expresses certain hesitations and concerns she has about getting pregnant and the changes to her body, but also her feelings of excitement for this next chapter in her life.

Although there are talks of both a baby and making their pro debut together, Irina discusses how her and her husband came to the decision that it was time to start a family. Irina talks about her and her husband's feelings towards having a baby and how she foresees her husband being as a future father.

After talking about family matters, Celeste mentions Irina's busy work schedule that she manages with competing. She asks Irina if the mentality and habits she developed from her experiences of coming to the US, and working full time while earning her doctorate had an influence on the way she approached bodybuilding. Irina then shares her story of immigrating from Russia to the US.

She discusses how coming to the US influenced her decision to choose to commit to pharmacology and also how she found bodybuilding. Irina acknowledges that nothing was gifted to her and that she had to work hard to put herself through school and establish her career. Because of Irina's story, Celeste was curious to ask how the "American Dream" was depicted in Russia and what inspired Irina to come to the US.

Irina discusses how she came to the decision to apply for schools in the United States as she wasn't sure how long she was going to stay upon arriving. Celeste and Irina discuss how Irina got into pharmacy and she shares an important goal she would like to accomplish in the field.

The conversation shifts and Irina shares financial goals she has for herself, which leads Celeste to ask about any strategies Irina has or is taking to set herself up for this financial success. Next, Irina briefly shares how she met her husband before giving her best advice for both first time competitors and for the girls on their road to pro.

DR. RUTH MONTES Feb 19, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, we meet Ruth Montes, life-long athlete and primary care physician who just won her IFBB Pro card at the 2020 Masters USA Championships, even while working COVID wards and caring for her ailing mother. Her athletic career began with gymnastics , running, and cheerleading but it took a revenge body mindset to get her into weight training and competing in the NPC 2.5 years ago

She found out that being a doctor was her calling, because she always had a passion for science. Moreover, due to some condition, her mom was frequently in the hospital. Ruth grew up finding faith in her Christianity, and all these elements made her ask herself what are we doing for others ?.

She started lifting with a revenge mentality, after having been cheated on.

Throughout the journey, her mindset evolved from revenge to doing something for herself

The owner of the vitamin store she used to go advised her to go to Ryan Bentson, who became her coach. They had a good connection & his useful detailed feedback and coaching has made a huge difference in her athletic career.

She was competing while she was still a resident in med school. That gave her ammunition to keep her going and strive for more. There are parallels between becoming a doctor and becoming a pro, in the extremes of the lifestyle.

She used to do boot camps and marathons before immersing into bikini competitions. Training became a fuel and a way to take time for herself. She ran a marathon 1 week prior to Governor's cup and learned lessons about that. She was too sore and didn't do great. A choice had to be made between running or bodybuilding.

A few times, Ruth was super close to earning her pro card. She used her coach's feedback to improve along with the support of a posing coach.

Her mindset also changed. Now she feels lots of gratitude and taps into mindfulness in everything she does to make the most of it. She is a positive person and always takes lessons from her experiences.

Ruth insists on the importance of the whole package, which is also why she changed her suit and hair color.

Ruth explains that it is important to be mindful about nutrition, especially when you're always on the go like she is.

Ruth and Celeste discuss how she has been feeling since her pro card win and she shared how keeping a positive mental attitude focused on manifesting and never allowing negativity to rob her of happiness. She shares the importance of having a supportive community. Her boyfriend, who's also her coach's brother, is a piece to her success, thanks to the incredible support he gives.

Ruth gives her standpoint, as a doctor, regarding health and bodybuilding. recommending to think ahead, consider the side effects as well as the importance of fertility to you.

What risks are you willing to take ? Using is not necessarily inherently bad, but you have to take informed decisions, with health at the forefront.

Ruth's best advice would be to listen to podcasts! Podcasts give us a great insight and we can always learn from others. Find people who you connect with to tune into this lifestyle and of course, never give up.

    Show notes

In today's episode, Celeste interviews Trisha Green, who works as a personal trainer and began her competition journey in 2015 completing 6 regional shows and 6 national shows before earning her pro card at USA's in 2020.

After discussing some pre-stage rituals, Celeste and Trisha explore the various ways Trisha's mindset towards prepping and competing have changed over the past six years. Trisha goes on to explain her path towards the stage, beginning with starting out as a personal trainer at a local gym. Once she made it through her first prep and stepped on stage for the first time, Trisha was "hooked" on competing and created a lifestyle that allows her to pursue her dreams with a strong support system.

Trisha shares many insights into her competition prep, one most notably being her post-show feedback from head judge Sandy Williamson. She goes into details about the areas of her physique that need improvement, as well as some of the ways she plans on improving her package and coming back better for her rookie season.

Trisha openly shares about her two year unexpected hiatus from competing, and describes some of the challenges she endured during this time. Ultimately, she enlightens us on how her mindset adapted this time, and how she has used her lessons learned into the prep that allowed her to earn her pro card.

Throughout the interview, Celeste and Trisha continuously talk about the importance of having a strong foundation of support to succeed in both life and competing. They also discuss the significance of being willing to "reset" throughout a season of prep or life. No matter the setbacks, Trisha talks about the importance of loving the process more than the final result or destination. Also mentioned is the value in taking your time; not rushing the process or results we often so quickly wish to attain.

As the interview comes to a close, Trisha shares her best advice for a competitor who has never competed before but has a desire; as well as her best advice for a competitor on her road to earning a pro card!

CHRIS NICOLE CHIACCIO Feb 05, 2021
    Show notes

This week, host Celeste Rains-Turk sits down with Chris Nicole cohost on the Prep Life podcast who started her competition journey in 2015 as a hobby and prepped for one show a year. She holds certifications in both nutrition and exercise from NPTI along with Precision Nutrition Chris starts off by sharing how the encouragement of a friend initially brought her to competing as well as her desire to take her fitness hobby to the next level. She shares how her type A personality played a large roll in her journey and how it had attached her own self worth to her adherence of her plan. As the episode progresses, Chris talks about her own history with disordered eating. She shares how inquiries from friends and family about her weight loss made her only want to control it more through over exercising and under eating. It was a pivotal moment when she was lying on her back and realized she could see her own skeleton that made her realize that she needed help. This history doesn't hold her back in her preps, however, because she has learned how to properly frame her mindset around her goals so that they are healthy. She shares the importance of setting a goal for a certain leanness for a temporary time and not to live at. Chris continues to talk about her most recent show and taking last place. She shares how she felt in denial of it for quite some time, but after a few months she realized how disappointed she was in the placing. Chris talks about how she tried to control her reverse despite what her coach wanted her to do and how they were able to sit down and develop a plan for making the most of the improvement season. On the note of physical health, Chris shares her own struggles with hypoglycemia as well as scoliosis and the impact that both have on competing for her. She talks about how hypoglycemia causes her to rethink the way that most people would eat in a prep and experimenting with what works best for her. Because of the scoliosis she has had since a young age, Chris talks about modifications she has had to make to her posing in order to appear balanced while on the stage. Throughout the episode, Chris' passion for mental health and self improvement is apparent and she talks about one of the tactics she uses in order to get the most out of every day. She shares the important aspects of her morning routine and the appointment she creates with herself as well as the daily discussion she has with her boyfriend that features two important questions to positively reflect on the activities of the day. ANGELINE JEANSON Jan 29, 2021
    Show notes

Today we hear from Angeline Jeanson. She is a mechanical engineer and posing coach for Team Atlas, and former dancer who came back from a terrible car accident to become an IFBB pro.

Celeste begins by asking Angeline about her pre-show rituals when she was still completing. Angeline explains she would listen to the same song during prep and it would calm her on show day. She would also do this before she stepped on stage as a dancer.

Because most people know Angeline as a top posing coach, Celeste asks about her backstory and what led her to bodybuilding. Angeline describes a car accident she had as an 18-year-old that required her to re-learn to walk. Her physical therapist told her she needed to begin weight training to aid her recovery. She had always been in shape because of dancing, and after two years of training, a friend suggested she compete. She had a terrible experience at her first show.

She knew nothing of posing or proper make up, but she loved being on stage. In her second show, she placed first and soon went to her first national show, placed first. In Canada, one needs to win the overall to win a pro card, and she finally did that in 2017. After 6 years of competing on the world stage, she is retired. Because she coaches some of the top IFBB pros, she does not feel it is right to compete against them.

Celeste asks Angeline what she thinks of how the bikini division has changed over time and where it will go in the future. When Angeline first started competing, the standards were not very strict. She likes that there are clear expectations now because it gives her competitors a standard to work towards.

With 15 years as a dancer, she carries that experience into the way she coaches posing, using steps and counts to build routines. Each detail is calculated to the second, just like dance choreography. This is what sets her apart from other posing coaches. She is consistently trying to push posing to another level. Angeline spends hours creating routines for each athlete and does not look at what others are doing. She is not influenced by what others are doing. Angeline does not post her athletes' routines before they hit the stage because they have been copied in the past. She records everything to study and change as needed.

Celeste asks Angeline if she has any pet peeves that come up when she is watching other competitors pose. Angeline says she has a list! She points out that amateurs waste a lot of their 15 seconds on stage with hair flips and arm movements when they should be focusing on showcasing their physiques. Angeline doesn't have a preference in working with newbies or pros, but she wants to work with athletes that bring good attitudes and leave their ego out of the process. Angeline finds the criteria for posing is always the same but what helps an amateur go pro is when they show up to a show already presenting as a pro.

Angeline shares her trick to choosing the right suit, makeup , and general look for the stage. She says to look at the previous season's Olympia top 5 to set the criteria for the upcoming season. It's that simple. If the top 5 Olympians are wearing blues and purples, why would you show up with a red suit? The type of posing they do is what you should bring to your next show.

Angeline explains that she only works with members of Team Atlas because of the shared mentality with the other coaches, James and Jennifer. She chooses every detail, from suit to hair, so each competitor presents their best. When she worked with other coaches, they did not always see eye to eye. Angeline speaks generally to stretching and how it is specific to each girl. She recommends working with a physical therapist or a massage therapist to see where your deficiencies in movement may be.

Celeste shares a listener question about how to be as comfortable on stage as one is at home practicing. Angeline says the competitor needs to ask herself why she doesn't feel comfortable on stage. Is it because they are super shy, they did not practice enough? You can't solve the problem until you know what is causing it. Angeline stresses the importance of practicing like you are on stage to build comfort and confidence. Angeline explains that she has always strived to be the best at what she does and that naturally carried over to posing. She even calls herself "annoying" to the point where she purchased all the posing shoes she could to tell her clients what to buy and not to buy.

Angeline begins to talk about her background as a mechanical engineer. When she was visiting universities, she had three professional choices; doctor, lawyer, or engineer. She decided on engineering because she loves problem solving and wants to know "everything about everything". She has been working on business aircrafts for the past seven years and she really loves her profession. Angeline speaks to how she has considered transitioning full time to being a posing coach. During the COVID quarantine, her business shut down and she realized how much she missed it. Because she worked so hard to earn her degree, she feels leaving the profession would almost feel like a failure.

Because she has two demanding professions, Angeline finds success through structure. She wakes up early and keeps a strict schedule to stay organized. She does not waste a minute. She also uses alarms to help her stay on track. When she was competing, her boss was also supportive and understanding of her unique needs. Now that she isn't competing, she rarely trains and doesn't diet. Now she just enjoys food. When she wasn't competing, she never rebounded and maintained her physique. Now she just trains for fun and to relax. But because she coaches so many posing clients, that also counts as training.

Celeste shares a listener question regarding being a female in a predominantly male field. Angeline says her personality lends itself to working in the field of engineering and has rarely had issues.

Angeline shares her advice for competitors in various stages of their journeys. For new competitors, she recommends to choose their first team wisely as to not waste time and money on their journey. Having a good coach and team will set you up for a favorable experience and help maintain your health. For competitors on their way to pro, she recommends not competing until you look ready. Analyze your posing and your physique and take your time. Aim for what the successful pros look like. Define what you want and work towards it.

    CHELSEA STONESTREET Jan 22, 2021
    Show notes

In this week's episode, host Celeste Rains-Turk has the pleasure of speaking with Chelsea Stonestreet, a 29 year old business development director for Spooner physical therapy and a realtor in Arizona who also provides online lifestyle coaching. who used to be a competitive boxer before having her now 8 year old daughter. She started bodybuilding 3 and a half years ago and fell in love with the structure of prep as it was one thing she could control in her life on her mission to be confident in her body post baby. Even though she didn't love being on stage, was told she couldn't be successful in the sport due to severe stretch marks, and getting second callouts all at her first show she decided she could do better and proved to herself she was the only one who would define her success. This sparked the next 3 years and ultimately after 12 shows a first place and pro card win at NPC Universe. This soon to be wife and step mom serves as a powerful example that anything is possible if you put in the work and never give up.

Chelsea explains to Celeste about her first show-day experience and insecurities about wearing a bikini. Even though Chelsea has been successful in the IFBB division, she was once told at the amateur level that her stretch marks on her abdomen would hold her back from success. Due to her competitive nature and desire to better herself, Chelsea dove into self-improvement eventually earning her IFBB title at NPC Universe after twelve shows. Chelsea now reflects on her past struggles and successes before stepping on stage to truly enjoy the experience.

Chelsea discusses her previous passion for boxing. She states that competitive boxing and bikini bodybuilding have similarities, mostly by subjecting yourself to the judgement of hundreds of people in the crowd. Chelsea oftentimes has to reflect on her boxing experiences to get herself calm her nerves, "You can get into a [boxing] ring and get yourself knocked out, you can throw yourself in a bikini and go on stage" Furthermore, Chelsea states her strength of digging deep and pushing further than last time allows her to shine in competition prep.

Celeste asks Chelsea why she decided to transition from boxing to bodybuilding. Chelsea believes getting punched repeatedly will affect her mental and physical long-term health. Although she has always loved the sport of bodybuilding, being a single mom made her weigh the importance of family over injury. She will occasionally "hit the bag" for stress relief and cardio during her offseason.

Celeste and Chelsea discuss her training on prep and post season. Chelsea focuses on increased calories and heavy lifting in the offseason as she is able to build muscle easily. As a lifestyle coach, she develops circuit style training and bodyweight exercises while keeping the main focus on movement.

Chelsea informs Celeste on her body improvements over the years. During her final national show, Chelsea was told she was too lean and conditioned and was able to feed herself up to the next show. Chelsea advises listeners to find a trustworthy and quality coach that gives adequate feedback as feedback from the judges can be confusing and frustrating. Celeste explains that if you love the sport, you will continue to pursue it despite the differing feedback of judges.

Chelsea discusses how minor details matter for placement. Suit color is a priority for her coach and believes red is the best color for her overall package. Chelsea emphasizes that stage presence and overall package, to include your suit color, can be the difference between placement. Chelsea tells Celeste she has never been told by a judge that her stretch marks affected her placement. Chelsea has been micro needling to improve the color and density of her stretch marks and has noticed great changes.

Chelsea shares that both herself and Fiancé earned their IFBB pro cards at the NPC Universe! Prior to meeting her Fiancé, she accepted being a single mother. Chelesa admits to initially being scared of being a step-mother but has fallen in love with her Fiancés children over the years. Chelsea is proud to have influence on young children and to provide siblings for her daughter. Celeste and Chelsea praise the newest Bikini Olympian and are happy to see a mother win the title. Furthermore, Chelsea values quality family bonding and makes sure to have family dinner every night without cell phones.

Finally, Chelsea tells Celeste her goals as an IFBB Pro while providing listeners and fellow competitors advice on reaching the IFBB stage. Chelsea's impressive background and humble demeanor provides an episode you do not want to miss!

    CANDICE HENRICKS Jan 15, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, we're introduced to Candice Henricks, a new IFBB pro who works as a registered respiratory therapist who is inspired to support others in sharing experiences and showing love to all with her faith in Christianity and the belief she holds that we are all in this together and no one is alone. She dives into her journey, the power of faith, her career, vulnerable stories and struggles of her life, and caffeine abuse. Candice reflects on 2020 as a year of internal growth. It's not the year you get what you want, but a year you must make the most of. During her prep to her pro card, she was in quite a bad place, mentally. She could no longer find joy in the process. She was struggling with her diet, after a 28-week prep. All in all, she could not even really enjoy the pro card. But moving to Texas changed the game. Thanks to her new coach, she was introduced to a more flexible diet style. Her relationship with food changed. She was able to reflect on what she really enjoys. She feels much healthier. This prep was also super different regarding the training. Weight lifting sessions were more intense than ever. However, cardio was kept reasonable. This was a brand new approach. This made her feel empowered and made her fall in love with the process again. This prep started as a challenge. Her friend Gina Scafoglio, who's also an IFBB pro, told Candice she should try and compete with her. Challenge accepted! Candice was on fire, loved everything, and was thriving. Candice used to compare her life to IG influencers' lives. Before moving to Texas, she was in a bad place, financially. She had just graduated but couldn't find a job. It was a hard time. And it was also very hard not to compare herself to others who « made it ». The solution was simple : temporarily deleting social medias ! And taking time to reflect on herself. During this waiting period, Candice took time to reflect on her purpose, and accepting the path she was on. She was able to find balance with food, and put herself in the right mental state for work. She could also focus on her faith. When Candice was 17, her mom died of a cancer. This lead Candice to her first journey into faith, leaving her with questions : « why ? », « who's God ? ». Since then, she's been building her faith. This also made her realize she wanted to help people, she wants to be that person who shows you you can overcome darkness. This is how she choose her career path. She knew she wanted to help and tried to work as a nurse. However, bathing/ cleaning people, … that was not meant for her. Then she turned to respiratory therapy. She graduated in a year. This path helped her to switch her mindset from « I can't » to « I can ». It's not easy to come from unemployment to 12-hour shifts though. But with organization and routine, Candice made the transition. Another point to take into consideration was the fact that we're in a pandemic. Working in a hospital these times can be really nerve wrecking. But with her fresh mindset, Candice reminds herself that people are the priority, not bodybuilding, which is a « hobby ». It is important to find a routine that works for you, to stay grounded. She used to abuse caffeine. She didn't realize it, but was pretty agitated, leading to relationships issues. After 1 week limiting her intake, she felt a complete change and felt much more calm. Regarding artificial sweeteners, she doesn't want to go cold turkey, but she focuses on living a healthy lifestyle and wants to fuel her body with nourishing foods. Candice loves the pro milieu. She competed at the Battle of Texas, sharing the stage with Olympians. She loved that experience. Compared to amateur level, there is much more positivity. It feels like a community, girls are rooting for each other. This is an inspiring experience. Now Candice is in a better mindset and she's able to truly enjoy the pro status. She puts less pressure on body building and no longer « has to » do things. She switched from not being in the moment to living a healthy and happy lifestyle. Her best advice for a first timer would be to ask themself lf if this is really their passion, if they want to live this lifestyle. Having a great support system helps a lot. It's important to take things day by day, have a plan. For competitors on their way to the pro status, it's crucial to have a vision on where you want to be. This is you versus you. Whenever you improve, you're on the right track. Get a great support system and do things day by day.
