In this episode with sit down with Bassem Dghaidy and talk about maker culture in Lebanon, his endeavours with many software houses including Cleartag where he helped build Bank Audi's "Novo" system, his many contributions to Lamba Labs and Geek Express later, and his latest passion as a full time instructor with SEFactory, a startup which offers software engineering graduates in Lebanon an intensive coding bootcamp.

Bassem is a long-time maker and software engineer within the Lebanese community and this episode is a lengthy one where he talks about at least 10 more topics than we've mentioned above!

في هذه الحلقة نتعرف أكثر على كوستا و يخبرنا عن رحلته الطويلة في عالم التكنولوجيا والبرمجة بدءًا بعمله في إدارة الشبكات ثم تجربته في مجال تطوير البرمجيات وريادة الأعمال

We sit down with Costa and talk about the many roles he's played during his career in the technology field, from network administration to software development and entrepreneurship. Costa tells us about what it's like to start a startup and shares insight about the startup ecosystem in Lebanon. We also touch on community management and his continuous efforts in rallying a large community of developers here in Lebanon under one roof.

Costa was acting as CTO of Protenders (previously Monaqasat) and later as the Co-founder and CTO of Referd, a business tool for private referrals. Costa is a fullstack developer with a preference for Ruby on Rails! You can find more about him here
