Hot & Bothered at the Sarandos House w/ Caitlin Peluffo | Coastal Idiots - Episode 046 May 19, 2026

Show notes

This episode starts with Caitlin Peluffo admitting she hasn’t been “plowed” in months and somehow spirals into a philosophical discussion about pegging, modern art, star-studded celebrity brunches, and emotional survival during live Netflix stand-up competitions. The trio also debates whether a banana taped to a wall counts as art, relive disastrous spray tans, and discover that fame mostly just means being tired in nicer locations and lastly, why every comedian secretly wants to avoid “Netflix Small Talk.”

Show notes

Hotbox Gaslighting (Literally) w/ Logan Guntzelman | Coastal Idiots - Episode 044 May 06, 2026

Show notes

On this deeply irresponsible episode of Coastal Idiots, Katherine and Shane welcome Logan Guntzelman—newly passed at the The Comedy Store—and immediately subject her to a psychological war crime disguised as a bit. A heating cushion has Logan questioning her sanity while an intermittent fart machine ensures no one feels safe, physically or emotionally. The result? Pure, unfiltered chaos, nervous breakdown energy, and a prank that somehow keeps escalating long after it should’ve stopped. It’s hilarious. It’s cruel. It’s exactly what you signed up for.

Hunks, Humiliation & Hot Air w/ Justin Martindale | Coastal Idiots - Episode 043 Apr 28, 2026

Show notes

Katherine and Shane bring in their sharp-tongued frenemy Justin Martindale for a game that should’ve been simple: name the hunky actor, name the show. Instead, Justin turns it into a bloodbath, wiping the floor with Katherine like it’s his full-time job. Tensions rise, egos bruise, and the entire episode derails into an absurd amount of fart and poop discourse that no one asked for—but everyone delivers, ESPECIALLY Katherine. It’s petty, chaotic, and deeply unserious in the best way.

We Brought in a Referee (It Didn’t Help) w/ Leslie Liao | Coastal Idiots - Episode 042 Apr 21, 2026

Show notes

Things are getting tense on Coastal Idiots as Katherine and Shane’s bickering hits a breaking point, so they do the only logical thing—bring in comedian Leslie Liao to fix their relationship live on air. Armed with questionable advice and zero authority, Leslie attempts to untangle their grievances while both sides refuse to back down, and then it all devolves into non-sensical stories. What unfolds is part couples therapy, part verbal cage match, and entirely unhinged. Progress is… debatable. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Coastal Idiots is a weekly comedy podcast where each week your host Shane and Katherine are joined by a friend or two where they do something very stupid and hilarious. Show notes

On this episode of Coastal Idiots, Katherine and Shane are joined by their friend Michael Turner—an enthusiast of conspiracy theories in the same way some people are “into hiking,” except the hiking is through the darkest corners of the internet. The trio put their instincts to the test in a game where one person presents a conspiracy theory, and the other two have to guess: is it real, or did someone just invent it five minutes ago? Spoiler: confidence does not equal accuracy.
