    DOJ Ordered to Release Redacted Mar-a-Lago Search Affidavit Aug 26, 2022

    A federal judge has ordered the redacted Mar-a-Lago search warrant affidavit to be released by Friday at noon. Justice Department Spokesman Anthony Coley says: “The United States has filed a submission under seal per the Court’s order of Aug. 22. The Justice Department respectfully declines further comment as the Court considers the matter.”

    Meanwhile, President Biden decries “semi-fascism” beneath “extreme MAGA philosophy”. As the midterm elections approach, candidates share their stances on abortion, the economy, and Trump. President Biden will make a wide-ranging case for Democrats as he gives a significant political speech at a Democratic National Committee rally in Maryland Thursday evening.

    Plus, Biden gets mixed reviews on his decision to cancel $10,000 in debt for those making less than $125,000 a year, and CNN talks to a teacher who resigned over an Oklahoma law requiring teachers to censor books.

    A leaked letter from the National Archives to Trump’s legal team outlines how he took more than 700 pages of classified documents, including top-secret materials, to Mar-a-Lago when he left the White House in January 2021. The panel discusses how Trump sought to delay the FBI and the Intelligence Community in obtaining those documents by claiming executive privilege, why Trump’s legal team would leak this letter, and if it further implicates the former president in a potential crime.

    “Deep concern” in White House about classified documents taken by Trump Aug 20, 2022
