Club Junkie: Scotty Cameron Zero Torque Putter Review! Phantom 11R OC & Studio Style Fastback OC Nov 13, 2025

Show notes

This week, we're diving deep into the latest lineup from Scotty Cameron: the Phantom 11R OC and Studio Style Fastback OC, both featuring the brand-new OC (Onset Center) design that's all about reducing torque and keeping the putter face square through impact.

We break down what makes the OC setup special — with the shaft positioned in line with the center of gravity and slightly back from the leading edge — and talk about how that helps stabilize your stroke and improve consistency. We'll share our thoughts on the Phantom 11R OC's rounded shape, heavier head, and ultra-stable feel, plus how the Studio Style Fastback OC brings that classic mid-mallet look with a carbon steel insert and chain-link milling for a buttery smooth roll. You'll hear our first-hand impressions from testing: alignment, feel, roll, and stability, plus who we think each model really suits. We wrap it up with our verdict on where these fit in the current putter lineup — and which one might earn a spot in your bag.
