Ordinary Men with Extraordinary Boldness | Day 312 Nov 08, 2025
    Show notes

    Day 312 | Acts 3:1–5:42

The early church was marked by bold faith, miraculous power, and fearless obedience. When Peter and John healed a man who had been crippled for forty years, crowds were amazed—but not everyone rejoiced. Arrested and threatened, the apostles stood firm, declaring, “We must obey God rather than men.” Empowered by the Holy Spirit, these ordinary men changed the world through their confidence in Christ, their bold preaching, and their willingness to suffer for the gospel.

The Birth of the Early Church | Day 311 Nov 07, 2025
    Show notes

    Day 311 | Mark 16:19-20; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:1–2:47

After Jesus’ ascension, His followers gathered in prayer, waiting for the promise of the Holy Spirit. On the day of Pentecost, God poured out His Spirit, filling believers with power and giving birth to the church. Peter boldly preached the gospel, and 3,000 people were saved. United in prayer, fellowship, and devotion to God’s Word, the early church became a living testimony of God’s power and presence. May the Spirit move among us today as He did then.

Jesus Rises from the Dead | Day 309 Nov 05, 2025
    Show notes

    Day 309 | Mark 15:42-47; Matthew 27:57-61; Luke 23:50-56; John 19:38-42; Matthew 27:62-66; Mark 16:1-8; Matthew 28:1-7; Luke 24:1-12; Mark 16:9-11; John 20:1-18; Matthew 28:8-15

On the morning that changed all of history, Jesus rose from the grave, conquering death, sin, and the power of hell. Though His followers were filled with confusion and fear, God was fulfilling His oldest promise—that one would come to crush the serpent’s head. The resurrection of Christ proves that death has no victory and the grave has no sting. Through Him, all who believe receive eternal life and the sure hope of resurrection.

The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ | Day 308 Nov 04, 2025
    Show notes

    Day 308 | Mark 15:21-24; Matthew 27:32-34; Luke 23:26-31; John 19:17; Mark 15:25-32; Matthew 27:35-44; Luke 23:32-43; John 19:18-27; Mark 15:33-41; Matthew 27:45-56; Luke 23:44-49; John 19:28-37

On the cross, Jesus spoke seven powerful statements that reveal the depth of His love and the purpose of His mission—“Father, forgive them,” “It is finished,” “Into Your hands I commit My spirit.” As He endured the wrath of God for the sins of the world, He became the second Adam—undoing the curse brought through the first. Through Adam’s disobedience came death from a living tree, but through Christ’s obedience came life from a dead tree. The cross stands as the turning point of human history—where our debt was paid in full and life was restored to all who believe.

The Trials Before the Cross | Day 307 Nov 03, 2025
    Show notes

    Day 307 | Mark 15:2-5; Matthew 27:11-14; Luke 23:1-12; John 18:28-40; Mark 15:6-15; Matthew 27:15-26; Luke 23:13-25; John 19:1-16; Mark 15:16-20; Matthew 27:27-31; Luke 22:63-65

Before the cross came the trials—mock hearings filled with lies, fear, and corruption. The religious leaders rejected the truth, Herod wanted to be entertained, Pilate feared losing his position, and Barabbas—the guilty man—walked free while the innocent Son of God took his place. Through it all, Jesus stood silent and resolute, bearing the judgment meant for others. We see in these men the reflection of our own hearts: pride, self-interest, and compromise. Yet even for them—and for us—Jesus chose the cross. The innocent took our guilt so that we could be set free.

Peter Denies Jesus Three Times | Day 306 Nov 02, 2025
    Show notes

    Day 306 | Mark 14:53-65; Matthew 26:57-68; Mark 14:66-72; Matthew 26:69-75; Luke 22:54-62; John 18:25-27; Mark 15:1; Matthew 27:1-2; Luke 22:66-71; Matthew 27:3-10

In one of the darkest moments of his life, Peter denied even knowing Jesus—just as the Lord had said he would. As the rooster crowed, Jesus turned and looked at him, and Peter wept bitterly. Fear had overcome faith. Yet this story is not only about failure—it’s about grace. Like Peter, we often deny Christ in subtle ways: through our silence, our choices, or our fear. But every time we turn back, Jesus stands ready to forgive, restore, and call us to follow Him again. His mercy is greater than our mistakes.
