    Balaam’s Donkey Saw What He Couldn’t | Day 65 Mar 06, 2025
    Show notes

Day 65 | Numbers 22:1–24:25Derek and Noah talk about the fascinating story of Balaam—a prophet for profit—who set out with selfish motives, only to be stopped by his talking donkey! But the real lesson here isn’t just about a miracle; it’s about obedience. Balaam knew what God had commanded, but his heart was set on wealth and personal gain. Even when we outwardly obey, God sees our motives. Keep Your Anger From Becoming Sin | Day 64 Mar 05, 2025
    Show notes

    Day 64 | Numbers 19–21

Noah and Michael talk through two important stories from Numbers. The first story deals with Moses' angrily responding to the people when they continued to complain. When they begged for water and romanticized how good their slavery had been, Moses struck a rock in anger to create water. This would have ramifications that come later. Also, we look at the story of the bronze serpent which foretells the coming of the Savior in the New Testament.

    Show notes

Day 61 | Numbers 11:1–13:33Numbers 11-13 is a powerful reminder of how complaining and fear reveal our lack of trust in God. The Israelites grumbled about their hardships, forgetting that God had provided for them every step of the way. Even Moses struggled, but God graciously provided help. When the spies explored the Promised Land, 10 doubted, but Joshua and Caleb stood firm in faith.
