    Episode 47 - Garrett Lane Jun 24, 2007
    Show notes

How can I possibly explain Garrett. He is a gentle wonderful man who on the outside is hardened by what he has done. He is a brilliant live sound engineer. He should be recorded as part of an oral history of the Seventies and rock and roll. But, as you will hear in this show, there is another, emotional side to this man that is expressed by his live performance.\n Enjoy this man, he is a jewel.\n for more info: myspace.com/olgarspace \n

    Episode 38 - Tim Wais May 22, 2007
    Show notes

25 years ago songwriter-singer/guitarist Tim Wais was a raw talent performing on legendary Chicago stages. He could be seen at the andldquo;Earl of Old Townandrdquo;, andldquo;Gate of Hornandrdquo;, andldquo;Holsteinsandrdquo; and andldquo; The Bullsandrdquo;, to name a few.\n When Tim arrived at the studio it seemed like a reunion of sorts. I was around during those days and through the foggy depths of my memory I am pretty sure I saw him perform back then.\n Well, that was then and this is now and Tim brings truth and a bit of protest with him. Pay attention to his lyrics and if you get the chance definitely see him live. He is fresh and exciting and at the same time brings lessons learned from the past to educate todayand#39;s activists.\n Tim will be opening for "Undertoad" on June 16th at The Ringside 554 E. Devon Ave. in Elk Grove Village and you should make it a point to go see him. Tim will also be on a future "Best of CAU" live show.\n For more info: www.timwais.com \n
