This is one kick ass band with some fabulous harmonies and excellent musicianship Headed by Michael (Mr. Perfection) Hushel and the group played some great songs and we must have recorded about an hour and a half of content and shrunk it down to about 22 minutes. Arwin is an indie-pop band from Chicago that draws comparisons to Rilo Kiley, The Flaming Lips, and Nada surf. Perhaps the most amazing and enjoyable five piece band we have recorded. Episode 60 - Simon Flory Aug 30, 2007
    Show notes

Simon Flory had the distinction of having his show fall on the first anniversary of Chicago Acoustic Underground. Simon brought his unique musical vision to the show and with background vocalist Maura Lally blew my socks off. \nTheir show also is the longest show produced so far and with songs like "Unholy Town" as an example, you can see why I didnand#39;t want the performance to end. \nSo, my friends, and you are all part of the CAU circle of friends, kick back and enjoy the fun and great music. Wil Maring and virtuoso guitarist and fiddler Robert Bowlin came to the studio after their "Great Performers of Illinois" set in Millinium Park on Chicagoand#39;s lakefront. Michael Vez and I were both at that concert and as you will hear, they are one of the most exciting acoustic musical performers ever to appear on CAU. \nIf you ever get a chance to see Wil Maring live, and I feel confident that she will be playing more and larger venues as the World discovers her incredible talent, do not miss her. \nYou can also become her friend at \nwww.myspace.com/wilmaring \nWebsite: www.wilmaring.com \n

    Episode 58 - Travis James Aug 22, 2007
    Show notes

Travis and I had so much fun with this show that we lost track of time. Michael Vez "Wizard of the Mix" had to chop almost ten minutes to get it down below 30 minutes. \nThis man has such a unique and wonderful style. To steal a line out of his Bio "Travis will keep a smile on your face and a log burning in your heart". \nYou can see Travis live on September 14th at Caryand#39;s Lounge 2241 W. Devon in Chicago. See you there.... Website: www.myspace.com/tatkinso\n
