Currently, Tracy is the founder of Morning Star Advisory, LLC where today he provides advisory and consulting services to multi-generational families and companies primarily in the logistics and supply chain space. He is also experienced in the following business sectors: distribution, transportation, banking and financial services, investment/asset/fund management and real estate. Over the course of 2018, the Leavertons took their three children on a state-hopping tour of the less-than-United States, creating a project called Undivided Nation. In the process, they became part of the documentary The Reunited States, exploring how they could be more open to others, to hear their stories and understand. In the process, the Leavertons have learned quite a bit about the country – and themselves.

Our guests today is Geoff Brenner. Geoff is the Chief Executive Officer of Triumph Business Capital. Prior to joining Triumph Business Capital in 2019, he spent 20+ years in the healthcare industry. He built a portfolio of healthcare services companies spanning revenue cycle, supply chain, insurance and performance improvement consulting. He led the enterprise to best-in-class financial performance amid significant industry disruption.

Geoff has served on more than 10 domestic and international boards and holds multiple insurance and financial securities licenses. He has also completed several unorthodox leadership programs – which we will hear about later in the podcast.

Geoff and his wife Emily have two sons and they live in Dallas, Texas. Rhonda and I are proud to call Geoff and Emily great friends!

Heather Avis is founder and chief visionary officer at The Lucky Few, a social awareness brand on a mission to make a more inclusive and loving world with an emphasis on shifting the Down syndrome narrative. The author of Everyone Belongs and the New York Times best-selling children’s book Different—A Great Thing to Be!, she runs The Lucky Few's hit Instagram account and is the author of a book and co-host of the podcast by the same name.

Heather is also the founder of the Lucky Few Foundation, a national Down syndrome advocacy organization. A former education specialist teaching high school students, she is a mother to three adopted children and has been interviewed on numerous media outlets including The Today Show, Focus on the Family, Hallmark’s Home & Family, and written for TIME and The Week.

Heather lives in Southern California with her husband, Josh, and their three kids Truly, August and Macy.

She holds a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and is the author of No More Holding Back, The In-Between Place, and a 6-book series called Storyline Bible Studies. She has her own podcast – The Polished Podcast.

Kat is the director of leadership processes for Integrus Leadership, is pursuing a doctorate of ministry in New Testament context at Northern Seminary, and serves as a board member of Pillar Seminary.

She and her husband, Aaron, have been married for twenty years and live in Dallas, Texas, with their son, Caleb, and attend Dallas Bible Church, where Aaron serves as the lead pastor.

This week we welcome Bob Johns. Bob is a lifelong youth pastor, serving at his present church – First Baptist Woodway since 1984. Bob just completed his book “They Say I’m Crazy. – which about going the distance in Youth Ministry. Bob has also written articles, curriculum, and devotional material for a number of various publications.

He is married to Debbie – and they have one daughter – Hannah. Bob loves golf, skiing, reading, playing his Gibson J-45 and making trips with Debbie to New York City to visit Hannah.

Our guest today is Mark Houser - Mark has spent his career in the energy industry, most recently as the founder and principal of Symphero Energy Solutions, LLC, an advisory services company in the oil and gas and renewable energy development markets.

Mark currently serves on the Investment Committee for a privately held oil and gas investment firm. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Houston Methodist Hospital System and is a member of the Board of Stewards of Chapelwood United Methodist Church. He also serves on the Board of Directors of The Restoration Team – which we hope to learn more about in today’s show.

Mark Houser has been married to his wife Lou for 38 years. They have 4 married daughters and 9 grandchildren.

Mark says he enjoys spending time with his family and friends at their ranch in South Texas, watching any sort of volleyball match available and following Texas A&M Athletics.
