Having a tough time getting those creaky bones out of bed on a cold winter morning? We'll inspire with the, "You're always Young enough for a good hit job" CDST NFL Week 15 Show.
Suck it up, grab that inhaler, and get ready to fight like rabid dogs on the frozen tundra in mid-December. The playoffs are coming and there's simply no tomorrow. Who knows, there could be a Sister Golden Hair surprise.... and the Raiders actually win as favorites.
We preview the action for this Sunday, as the weather turns frigid and the lines start to fall toward zero. Brace for some spirited hand to hand combat as Baltimore scraps with the Browns, Dallas tangles with the suddenly stoked Jags, the Jets lay in wait for the Lions, Falcons look for something solid to grab hold off against the struggling Saints, and the Panthers plan to pounce on Pittsburgh.
Plus there's something like 7 bowl games to ponder (how did Jimmy Kimmel get his name on one), and we may well check in on the World Cup final (Vive La France, or watch out for The Fez?). And playing in the background, we have more than enough Burt Young to go around, including the Bacala Sr. demolition of Mustang Sally, a serious infestation of Bed Bug Eddie in Pope of Greenwich Village, and Lou from Back to School, who sometimes gets carried away with phys. ed.

Plus there's a myriad of others that nobody in their right mind will remember, so why not come up with some more catchy call names... "The Lizzy Borden Pear Bowl".... The Ty Cobb Coke Bowl... The Lume-Smell of Success Cream Bowl... The Magic Stream Bidet Bowl....
Plus the highly anticipated breakdown of a very strong lineup for NFL Week 15, including the Ravens-Steeler blood feud, Jets parking their fuselage in Orchard Park, Cleveland giving Cincy the usual fits, Minny possibly getting minimized in Detroit, Brady and the Bucs walking the plank on the Left Coast flank, and Miami Mike causing more mischief at the Sofi.

If there's one lesson to be learned this year in both college and pro football, it's beware of large spreads, and our panel of seasoned experts hit this subject ad nauseum with this weeks', "Don't try and cover with a defective pack of Trojans" CDST show.
Yes, the chalk can be quite perilous and with the background of Friday night's debacle for USC, we'll see if we can address our most favored college and pro nations' relative risks. Topics for discussion on slate for this weekend's conference title games include: (i) poor Purdue getting thrown to the mighty Wolverines; (ii) wondering whether talented QB Daniels and LSU will be generally worthless against the Dawgs; (iii) whether the baby blue Heels will spin their wheels against sometimes clunky Clemson; and (iv) and the big skirmish in the Big 12, where all we know is that one way or another purple will reign supreme.
Then on to Sunday, with only Cowboys and Ravens as prohibitive home locks, but coming off of disappointing efforts just a few days earlier when they failed to completely live up to betting expectations. Beyond that, big dogs Bucs, Minny, Philly and everybody's darling San Fran are only getting lukewarm love, while the hosting Raiders and Bears are only giving scraps away to their opposition, and traveling Packers, Chief, Hawks and Commies are being prematurely penciled in as house party spoilers. And check out the once lowly Steelers, who are now Even Steven with the Falconies.
We'll call the action wild, wooly and with maximum gusto, sprinkling in some basketball and hockey to boot, along with, perhaps, some soccer scraps and the usual treasures from our fertile clip vault, .... check out that all powerful Bernard Buck, pulling 1000 pounds 100 yards, Carl's Cinderfella story from the grounds of Bushwood, Mel Torme, Mamie Van Doren, and scenes from a very violent Saturday down Arizona way.
