The Celtics beat the Warriors Thursday night at TD Garden for their 14th straight win, and A. Sherrod Blakely and Kyle Draper talk about the remarkable victory. USA Today NBA Insider Sam Amick joins to talk about the streak, and Brian Scalabrine is joined by Brad Stevens.

The Rundown:

(2:55) Sherrod and Kyle break down Thursday's comeback over Golden State, and whether the victory signals that the C's are the clear-cut favorites in the East. (7:20) Jaylen Brown had a big game in the face of adversity, and always seems to step up in big moments. (9:25) Scal declared the Celtics defense as "for real" on Postgame Live, Sherrod and Drapes discuss this further.

During the Sam Amick interview (10:45), we discuss how everyone, including Kyrie Irving, is buying into the Celtics defensive mindset and (11:50) the national perspective on his trade demand this summer and start to the season. (15:40) Amick weighs-in on whether Steve Kerr was accurate in labeling Boston as the clear team of the future in the East. (18:45) Amick had a long interview this week on USA Today Sports with former guard Isaiah Thomas, who is dreaming about facing his former team in the conference finals. Finally, Amick talks about the best case scenario for the Celtics come April if Gordon Hayward is able to return.

Brian Scalabrine catches up with Brad Stevens (26:20) to talk about not having the new Big 3 for more than 5 minutes together this year, and how continuity is key.

Sherrod Blakely talks with The Athletic Bay Area's Marcus Thompson II on the highly-anticipated match-up on Thursday of the red-hot Boston Celtics and the defensing champs, the Golden State Warriors. Thompson is shocked at how good the Celtics have played early in the season, and goes into detail of how impressed he has been with Brad Stevens and Kyrie Irving. He also talks about the C's two young wing players - Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, saying everyone in the league is looking for players like this, and the C's have two good ones.

Other topics discussed include how much the Warriors will look to put Boston in its' place, are the Cavs really in trouble, and what a Celtics vs Warriors Finals could look like.

The Celtics are still rolling, winning their 10th straight game, but the injuries are starting to take a toll. How can the team keep winning? A. Sherrod Blakely and Kyle Draper discuss the masterful job Brad Stevens has done early in the season, and how the roster has all settled into their roles so quickly. With the injuries, Sherrod and Kyle also talk about the possibility of bringing someone like Greg Monroe in with the DPE they have from Gordon Hayward's injury.

The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor joins the show to talk more about how the Celtics have pulled off such a great start to the season. Also, Kevin weighs-in on how mismatched the Cavs roster seems to be, and whether there is light at the end of the tunnel for LeBron James and company. We also play a fun game of projecting the Best Case and Worst case scenario for a bunch of teams around the league, and how it's too soon to make any judgements on Lonzo Ball.

Also, Kyler talks about whether he expected the Celtics to be playing this well after the Hayward injury, and whether the Cavs are in real trouble, or whether it's just a matter of 'flipping the switch' like they have done in previous seasons.

With only four players returning, the biggest challenge has been developing chemistry the first five practices. Sherrod also talks about Gordon Hayward actually surprising people, and 3rd overall pick Jayson Tatum impressing his teammates.

We then bring you interviews from Celtics Media Day with Abby and Brian Scalabrine, as they sat down with Danny Ainge (10:37) and head coach Brad Stevens (23:56) Ainge goes into detail about his reasoning for finally parting with the coveted Brooklyn pick. Stevens talks about the steps that need to happen to get his group on the same page with so many new faces, plus stressing to every single player on the roster that they can all get better each and every day.
