Before the festivities on Sunday, the current Celtics got their first look at the new-look Cavs, and it didn't go so well for Boston. We look at whether this game was a case of the Cavs "figuring things out" with their four new players, or are the C's just not playing well right now. Sherrod talks about the key piece in his mind to the trades Cleveland made.

The Celtics rallied from a 26 point deficit Thursday night to beat the Houston Rockets 99-98 in one of the best wins of the year. Kyle Draper and A. Sherrod Blakely talk about the multiple story plots from that game with Barstool Sports Celtics/NBA writer, Dan Greenberg.

We also look at where this win ranks so far this season, and the uphill battle the Celtics have faced with injuries, schedule and leaning on young rookies...but still have a 29-10 record.

Kyle and Sherrod also make their bold predictions for 2018.

Kyle Draper and A. Sherrod Blakely bring you a jam packed episode of the "Celtics Talk" Podcast, featuring a great interview with Antoine Walker, plus Brian Scalabrine talks to Brad Stevens about when the "basketball bug" got him.

Show Notes: Kyle and Sherrod talk about Gordon Hayward being able to not wear the big boot, and the realistic prospects of his return to the floor this season. (4:30) Also, a discussion on Kyrie Irving exceeding the already lofty expectations.

(8:00) Former Celtic Antoine Walker was in town for the game against Denver, and he joined us the next day on the phone to talk about his time in Boston. Toine starts off by talking about his time in Boston with Paul Pierce, and how his game as a 'stretch 4' was ahead of its' time. Walker reflects back on the early days with Pierce, the relationship the two had, and feeling some regret on being part of Danny Ainge's first major trade. Walker also relates his situation with Ainge trading away Isaiah Thomas. Walker also weighs-in on the current Celtics, and what he thinks of the Jayson Tatum comparison's to Paul Pierce.

(25:15) Brian Scalabrine has a great conversation with Celtics head coach Brad Stevens on when he first fell in love with the game of basketball.
