    Cat & Nat Unfiltered

Cat & Nat are two moms/women trying to not live in the confines that society puts on them. As they debunk the myths, challenge the scripts and give women (and men) the freedom to say f*ck it.

Through BFF conversations that everyone is thinking about but no one is talking about on Tuesdays, guest interviews on Thursdays and non traditional “Sex Fridays”, Cat & Nat take this podcast to a whole new level of f*ck it, inspiring their listeners to find themselves, their true selves. Not the ones sold by motivational speakers but the self that tried daily, sometimes nailing it and sometimes failing it.

Welcome to the brand new season of Cat & Nat Unfiltered, the Podcast!

    Self-Care & Etc. Feb 18, 2020
    Show notes

WOW - WHAT AN EPISODE 🤪 We started things off with a bang (aka typical Cat & Nat “off the rails” nonsense) and continued bantering about basically anything and everything (Gianni, salami, etc.). Although this poddy was kind of a gong show, we managed to leave you with five important takeaways from most motivational talks, which we sum up in just under a minute!

Gaining An Outside Perspective Feb 11, 2020
    Show notes

In this week’s episode, we explain how we’re finally in a place where we’re open to hearing the advice and opinions of others. By listening to the outside perspective and insight of our newest team member, we’ve been able to implement new digital + brand systems and strategies that will help us run (and grow) our business. We’re in love with life right now because we're doing what we love and we’re having fun doing it. We’re beginning to strategize and thoughtfully plan out our next steps rather than just reacting to what’s happening around us.

We also chat more about our two products (the Tween & Teen Group and our Late Night Live events), which we believe in so much because they add value to people’s lives, and how we’re making them into what we want them to be. And we share some of our own advice in business and parenting.

Find Your Magic Sauce Feb 04, 2020
    Show notes

January 2020 was such a pivotal month for our business, and we chat more about it in this week’s podcast! We’ve changed up our “tour” model, created our Tween & Teen Community (which we are honestly so proud of), and we feel such a positive energy that is literally radiating onto others. We also talk about failure and why we aren’t afraid of it, share our “advice” for kickstarting and growing a business aaaand we make a few surprise phone calls to find out more about tantric sex/masturbation 😜

Find Your Right Path Jan 28, 2020
    Show notes

In this week’s episode, we share our thoughts on TikTok (and how it’s the opposite of Instagram and a better example of reality). We also recap the iHeartRadio Podcast Awards (and how we lost), let you in on how our production team pitches our show to networks and share some details about our new podcast series that’s coming your way soon. We hit you with some #MOMTRUTH moments about being open with our kids, as well as some biz discussions about how being too nice can ultimately sink your business and how we need a strategy plan in order to convert our value into money. And then we go OFF THE RAILS at the end with some inappropriate convos because that’s just what we do.

    The 7-Minute Rule Jan 14, 2020
    Show notes

This week's podcast was a funny one...lots of hidden gems in here. We let you in on how we've been feeling lately about our business and how it took a company crisis to overcome conflict and find clarity in order to move forward as a team. But of course we mixed some OTR moments into our business convos!! We FaceTimed our stripper (and his mom), called Cat's husband to explain our new/genius idea that has already been stolen and shared our childhood fears about doing the dirty and how we escaped it all. Plus, we leave you with the 7-minute challenge. We're never scripted and always uncensored, and we just hope you enjoy the real, raw and crazy that comes at ya each week.

Something is Missing Jan 07, 2020
    Show notes

We're one week away from going to the iHeartRadio Podcast Awards! We're not quite sure how we ended up here, but we're definitely looking forward to our time in LA. For now, we're chit chatting about our lives, the show our production team is pitching next week, the end of tour and our never-changing mission. We also get real deep about where we're currently at and how we feel like something is missing but we don't know what. We're not perfect, y'all, but we're trying our best to manage it all over here.

Come see all the behind the scenes on instagram.com/catandnat !

Consistency Is Key Dec 31, 2019
    Show notes

In our last episode of 2019 (wow!), Cat shares her true feelings for Nat 😍 We also reflect on our Toronto shows and how the weekend was such a schlep. We designed the set and organized the whole event from start to finish, but it felt SO GOOD and was SO FUN. We also chat about moods and how it's so important to be consistent and to be a team player in business and in life.

We're planning for 2020 and we're excited about it, and that's when we know it's right. So thank you for an amazing year and we can't wait to see what 2020 has in store for us and this community!!

THROWBACK: Living for Mondays vs Fridays Dec 24, 2019
    Show notes

It's the holidays, so we took a bit of a break from recording and decided to throw it back to an old and outrageous episode from earlier this year! We talk a lot about entrepreneurship and the types of jobs we've had and our motivations behind them, but of course we can't get through an entire episode being serious, soooo we went off the rails with a convo all about masturbation.

We're taking our live show to the UK! Grab your tickets at catandnat.ca/tour!

Nothing We Do Is Traditional Dec 17, 2019
    Show notes

This week's episode is kinda all over the place. We put a lot of focus on parenting - the challenges, the guilt, and the magnitude of being a mom. We also share our thoughts on bending (or breaking...) the rules, letting go of big expectations and the changes we're making in life and in business. Listen to the end, ladies! We go off the rails and explain how we took a major turn from both being a "Claire" to transforming into Bad Cat & Naughty Nat.
