We're still alive here on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast. Alive and flush with cash for online shopping. Caddy just needs to make sure they get thee address right.

In the interest of getting moved in, Donna Jack has some advice for Caddy and the cats. Just try and catch them mid stream. We also make a quick turn to that time we all had to go do child play therapy in North Druid Hills, which is interestingly where one of our EPs now lives. What do you make of that?

In all seriousness we do talk about the situation in Hoover, Alabama. It's a heart-wrenching and frustrating series of events that leaves us with some questions. Would you have pressed charges? Should the public safety officials collect reimbursements? It's alarming, and we have some thoughts.

And in the opposite direction, we have some fun playing Dead or Not Dead. Tune in and play along. Especially you, Bon Jovi. You can give us a call while you're on the boat. 7704646024.

Welcome to the Cadillac Jack – My Second Act Podcast! On today's show, Donna is going mountain climbing, and Caddy is…not.

So, Donna opens the show talking about her new goal of climbing mountains. Literally. She is going to find a nice comfortable pair of hiking boots, hit a rave, and then climb the equivalent of the height of Mount Everest. Caddy wishes her the best of luck.

Donna went and saw the new Barbie movie with some girlfriends, pink cowboy hat and all. The movie is breaking all sorts of box office records and she and Caddy discuss the craze and their thoughts on the reactions the movie has received.

Caddy ran across a poll that showed that 24% of young adults think the institution of marriage is outdated. Is that number high? Low? Find out what Caddy and Donna think. Text or call 770-464-6024 and let us know.

Welcome to the Cadillac Jack – My Second Act podcast. On today's episode, Caddy lists the things he would rather have done than be on a particular flight full of Swifties.

But first, Donna went to see her dad Charlie's final resting place on Fripp Island. It was something she was glad to do with daughter Charlotte, but the real story here is what she did on the way back. She went by the Murdoch estate. You know, just for giggles.

Delta was already not having a great day when one of their planes got stuck on the tarmac and started boiling its passengers alive. Things got worse though, when one of its social media managers tweeted "what rhymes with Delta?" Well, the passengers on said stuck plane responded, and they weren't happy.

Speaking of miserable experiences on a plane: there is a viral video out there featuring a bunch of Swifties after attending one of the Eras Tour concerts. In said video the concert goers get on the plane intercom and singing all the hits. Some passengers, I'm sure, loved it. Most did not. Caddy would have been one of the later. He details the things he would rather do or have done than be on that Southwest flight.

You tell us. What would rather do than be on that flight? Or maybe you are one of those weirdos who would have loved it. Let us know. Text or call 770-464-6024.

Put out your pole and get ready for episode 93,000 of Cadillac Jack: My Second Act.

It's a late night, forgetful show here in the studio, and we say that lovingly. The reason? Donna is out of air conditioning. Houston we have a problem.

We kick things off with a story about a man losing his hair piece. Enough said. Then we step into Joe Jonas and a bit of other brown note music news. Tune in and tune out. You know the drill. 7704646024.

RIP Richard the Beaver Jul 13, 2023

We're back in the kitchen here on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast and let me tell you, we brought the heat. (No really, Donna's mic is a little hot)

In all seriousness it's a great episode of the Act as Caddy and Donna Jack dive into all your favorite topics.

First up we have birthdays and Amazon purchases. Caddy claims he has never used the Mom and Pop store while Donna wants to know who is tracking their cats. Then we move onto a memorial service for Richard the Beaver which is, honestly, just heartbreaking. Big boy go bye bye.

From there we hit the Merle Haggard sex-picade storyline. How could we not? The country artist spent a few days and many nights holed up by the lake with a companion. So, yeah, we have some ideas.

We round out the show with moles and sales figures. It'll make you sick. Call us like the family we are. 7704646024.

Caddy needs a technology class. Just one. Jul 11, 2023

Welcome to the Cadillac Jack – My Second Act podcast. Don't listen to this on speaker phone. But do listen to it.

As Donna explains, one of her pet peeves is when people talk on speaker phone out in public as if no one in the world is around. Like, hello?! I'm standing here! Caddy agrees. It's rude people.

At long last, it's time for the big reveal. Caddy and Donna reveal who they would pick to be on their Mount Rushmore of country music. A few of their picks may surprise you…

Donna poses the question to Caddy: if you could inject one skill into your body, what would it be? Piano? Fluent in another language? No, no. Caddy has something far more useful he'd like to

What super skill would you pick? Let us know! Text or call 770-464-6024.

It's a great afternoon here on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast. We're still recovering from the Fourth of July and have a few firey things to say. Strap in and tune out. I think.

It's been a weird week for sure. Some people had the whole week off, some people worked every hour. We here on the show were on the clock the whole time. Donna hasn't stopped moving since last Thursday and has the oatmeal to show for it. Cadillac Jack completed the Peachtree Road Race for the first time, and set a record while doing it. Just not exactly the record direction you're thinking.

We talk controversy in Country Music and intro the MLB All Star game, where Caddy thinks the Atlanta Braves should run the show. And Donna brings up the very important topic of loneliness and its affect on today's health crisis. Have a thought for it? Let us know. 7704646024.

Happy Birthday America! Jul 04, 2023
    Show notes

Welcome to the Cadillac Jack – My Second Act podcast and happy 246th birthday America.

Caddy opens the show by readying a beautiful essay about the holiday and what it means to so many people across this great country of ours. Take a minute to enjoy family and the simple things in life, like ice in your lemonade. We've got it good here in the good old U. S. of A and don't every forget it!

Brandon Hutchinson, the Vice President and General Manager of Atlanta Motor Speedway joins the show to talk racing and to take on Caddy in an epic showdown of Can't Beat Caddy. Find out who comes out on top.

Last fall, America lost one of its greatest patriots in Mr. Al, who we have talked about many times on this show. We are re-airing a bit of advice he had for our listeners shortly after his 100th birthday. We love and miss you Mr. Al!

What are you up to on this 4th of July? Send us your pictures! We'd love to see them. 770-464-6024.

Leave John Mayer alone! Jun 27, 2023
    Show notes

Welcome to the Cadillac Jack – My Second Act podcast! We have got Taylor Swift updates for all you Swifties out there.

But first, Donna opens the show by talking about people, much like Caddy, who have rediscovered their calling and often times, their second act. Inspired by a podcast she was turned onto, Donna talks about people who get to age 50 or so and realize how much more they have to offer.

Caddy has known Thomas Rhett since he was in diapers. He, his wife Lauren, and their kids are a great family. Recently, on an episode of her podcast, Lauren talks with Thomas about her postpartum depression and ways she dealt with anxiety and Thomas on tour. It's a great conversation for any spouse who is the homemaker and whose partner travels for their job.

The Eras Tour is alive and well in Taylor Swift land, but not without some caution. Saturday night in Minneapolis she played a song on stage that she had not played live in 11 years about her relationship with John Mayer. She warned her fanatics…leave him alone – she is fine!

Also, John Daly at Kenny Chesney concert. What could go wrong? Recently, the legend that is Daly rolled up to a Chesney concert in his golf cart and parked his ass right next to the stage. Didn't leave. No one said a thing. Legend.

Who would be on your country music Mount Rushmore? Let us know. We'll discuss and talk about some of your submissions on Thursday's episode. Text or call 770-464-6024.

It's CNA week and we're hugging nurses. In a very fun way. Seriously though we want to start off the show by thanking all our nurses for everything they do.

Caddy and Donna Jack don't tear up too much, though, before spinning the old track. And by that we mean talking sweaty pits and chafing.

We also touch on the Titanic submersible and Tug's tickle pickle. Well, we wish on that last one. Don't you? 7704646024.
