Ohio State emerged from the first day of the Early Signing Period with the nation's No. 4 overall class. It's a historic class for linebackers ... but is missing a certain cornerback. Where to from here because this class is not done.

Also, Ryan Day met with the media yesterday afternoon to touch on the '22 class, Rose Bowl prep and other offseason tribulations.

Oh yeah ... Urban Meyer got fired last night.

The commitments came fast and furious at the WHAC this morning. Ohio State added a stellar class - officially.

Current 247Sports rankings - which are fluid - have the Buckeyes boasting the No. 4 overall class.

But the morning was not totally smooth. Texas, after recently bringing home transfer Quinn Ewers, did it again with an in-state native. Little Elm defensive back Terrance Brooks - verbally committed to Ohio State since June 30 - signed with Texas.

What do we make of the haul? How do we feel about adding Caden Curry yesterday and losing Brooks today?
