There have been times on the recruiting trail we thought that did not apply to the Buckeyes. It felt like it was commitment after commitment. But ... apparently ... "You can't win them all."

While Ohio State added elite tight end Jelani Thurman over the weekend the past few days have seen Tackett Curtis and Justice Haynes commit elsewhere.

Is this a trend? What's next for the Buckeyes?

High 4-star defensive lineman Jason Moore committed to Ohio State on Sunday, vaulting the Buckeyes back over Notre Dame for the No. 1 spot in the 247Sports Composite national recruiting rankings for 2023. The Buckeyes now have 18 prospects in their class. How many will they end up with and can they hold on to the top spot in the end?

Patrick Murphy joins Dave Biddle to discuss that, plus the fact that Big Ten Media Days kick off in exactly two weeks in Indianapolis. Who will be the player reps for Ohio State? High 4-star defensive lineman Jason Moore will make his announcement on Sunday and several experts believe the Buckeyes will be the pick. Ohio State is also the favorite to eventually land 4-star defensive end Desmond Umeozulu. Furthermore, high 4-star defensive tackle John Walker could very well be a Buckeye in the end.
