As the Ohio QBs turn | Braxton vs. Cardale redux? May 25, 2023

Show notes

On our Tuesday show, we asked whether Ohio State is the real 'QBU'?

The Buckeye State must have wanted to have some say because another in-state QB in the Class of 2025 - Bellefontaine's Tavien St. Clair - has earned an Ohio State offer.

Is it Ryan Montgomery vs. St. Clair now? Is it a Braxton Miller-Cardale Jones redux? How does Bryce Underwood - the nation's No. 1 '25 QB - fit into the mix.

We dive deep on all things QB with Bill Kurelic and Mark Porter, our dynamic duo back for their second BM5 appearance of the week.

That's not all: Get the latest on Justin Hill, Justin Scott and more ... you're just in time!

Buckeyes add former NFL head coach to staff May 24, 2023

Show notes

Well, we did not see this one coming, but we absolutely love it. Ryan Day made a splash hire on Tuesday when it was announced that former NFL head coach Joe Philbin will be joining Ohio State's staff as an analyst that will assist with the Buckeyes' offensive line. In addition to being the former head coach of the Miami Dolphins for 3-plus seasons (2012-15) -- where a wide receiver named Brian Hartline played for him -- Philbin is a longtime NFL O-line coach and offensive coordinator.

Matt Baxendell joins Dave Biddle to discuss the addition of Philbin and much more on the Wednesday 5ish.
