Tennessee safety Andre Turrentine started his college career as an Ohio State Buckeye in 2021, before transferring to spend the last three seasons with the Volunteers. So when he compares what it's like to play in Ohio Stadium to what teams face in the Southeastern Conference, he's not just guessing.
This week, Turrentine said, "The Shoe isn't as loud as the SEC. It's a different animal here. Whether you're at South Carolina at nighttime or whether you're at Arkansas at nighttime, whether you're at Neyland (Stadium) at nighttime, or the daytime for that matter, it's loud here. It's deafening.
"I would say the Shoe is the same way, that they have really diehard fans that are willing to make enough noise to achieve what they need to. So I would say that the SEC is a little bit louder, but the Shoe brings it as well."

The Ohio State Buckeyes are bringing Purdue safety Dillon Thieneman in for a visit, hoping to add the former freshman all-American to their 2025 roster.
Thieneman totaled more than 100 tackles in each of his two seasons in West Lafayette, but entered the portal following the firing of Boilermaker head coach Ryan Walters.

2025 Ohio State Football Schedule Revealed Dec 11, 2024

The 2025 Ohio State Buckeyes' football schedule was just released by the Big Ten, and it will start and end with two of the biggest games of the season.
OSU will open at home on August 30 against the Texas Longhorns, end the season on the road against arch-rival Michigan on November 29, and play some memorable games in between, including a home date with Penn State, road trips to Washington and Wisconsin, and a bizarre six-week stretch in the middle with just one home game.
