Brian outlines his ambitious goals for the year, expressing confidence in the real estate market and planning strategic moves to achieve financial milestones. With a positive outlook on the Vegas market, he aims to make a million dollars through flipping and wholesaling, leveraging the current low-interest rates.
To enhance liquidity, Brian plans to sell his rentals and transition to multifamily properties, specifically newer ones requiring minimal renovation. He acknowledges the challenges faced with a rental portfolio and opts for a more focused approach.
In terms of personal development, Brian emphasizes the importance of clear goals. His goals for this year follow the WEALTHY pattern, with goals for: worship, education, affluence, lifestyle, team, and health. His Worship goals include commitments such as reading the Bible daily, going on mission trips, tithing a significant amount, and involving his wife in church activities.
On the professional front, Brian aims to grow his personal brand, recognizing real estate as a tried-and-true avenue for success. For education, he plans to attend digital marketing events, hire a coach, and read 20 books. Financially, he targets a net of 2 million dollars, with a specific goal of having 1 million dollars in his bank account after taxes.
For lifestyle he plans on taking vacations and providing enough income for his mother to retire. He also has the goal to increase his social media following.
For his team, Brian is prioritizing family time, aiming for weekly date nights with his wife and monthly individual dates with each child. He aspires to achieve fitness milestones like benching and squatting 305 and breaking 85 in golf.

But where does one begin the journey of building a personal brand? Justin advocates for starting on YouTube. He emphasizes that committing to creating YouTube content allows for the repurposing of longer videos on short-form platforms, such as Instagram. An essential first step for new creators is to identify their target audience, known as their avatar. Failure to understand or assuming the wrong avatar is a common mistake made by many creators.
Brian queries Justin about current trends and what lies ahead in 2024. Justin highlights the significance of following trending audio and music. Integrating trending audio into your videos can lead social media platforms to promote your content.
Justin advises against becoming fixated on the number of views. While views are noteworthy, he stresses that creating content to attract people to your business is of greater importance. Quality of views surpasses the quantity of viewers.
When it comes to editing, Justin recommends specific apps. For short-form content, he suggests editing within the app you're posting on. Additionally, Cap-Cut can be utilized for more detailed edits. Regarding third-party posting apps, Justin cautions against their use. Instagram and YouTube already offer scheduling features, rendering third-party apps unnecessary. While these apps may save time, they can detrimentally impact your reach, impressions, and other metrics.
