Jason Clark is a producer in the world of live-action and CGI feature films and television programs. He recently served as executive producer on the Jackie Robinson biographical sports film, 42 (2013), released by Warner Bros. on April 12, 2013. Prior to that, Clark produced Seth MacFarlane's blockbuster film, Ted (2012), released by Universal on June 29, 2012. This CG comedy went on to be the highest-grossing, original R-rated comedy of all-time, earning over $545 million, worldwide. Clark served as executive producer on the action thriller, Act of Valor (2012), which featured a cast of actual Navy Seals and was filmed utilizing only Cannon 5-D digital cameras. Previously, Clark executive produced the stereoscopic 3D film, Monster House (2006), alongside Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis. The film went on to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Clark also executive produced the box-office hits, Stuart Little (1999) and Stuart Little 2 (2002).
Clark is currently focused on three new projects with Seth MacFarlane. On the small screen, Clark is re-teaming with MacFarlane to produce a 21st century version of Carl Sagan's Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey (2014), to premiere on Fox on March 9th, 2014. On the big screen, Clark is producing MacFarlane's upcoming live-action film, A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014), to be released by Universal on May 30th, 2014. Next, Clark will produce the follow-up to the feature film, Ted (2012), scheduled for release on June 26th, 2015.
In addition to the aforementioned projects, Clark is also executive producing a feature-length animated version of Jay Ward's classic cartoon, Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014), directed by Rob Minkoff, to be released by "Dreamworks Animation" on March 7th, 2014.
A founding member of the design organization "5D: The Future of Immersive Design", Clark also remains an active member of the DGA, PGA and International 3D Society.
