Psychology In The Laura Palmer Mystery Sep 23, 2022

Show notes

Agent Elle Holgate returns with a Field Report, focusing on a psychological reading of the “Who Killed Laura Palmer” story arc. She and John discuss possible diagnoses of Laura’s killer, pertinent background and nuances thereof, as well as come at the question from a spiritual perspective. How do they tackle dissociation, trauma and responsibility, or how Twin Peaks’ mythology works with these readings? What is said about Sarah, Maddy and Audrey? Is Twin Peaks told from Laura’s perspective? And how aware IS Lynch of psychological understanding? There’s a LOT to unpack in this compact episode.
