In this episode of BJ in The Morning, we dive deep into the action-packed, over-the-top world of KPop Demon Hunters! From jaw-dropping fight sequences to unexpectedly hilarious moments, we break down how this wild movie made us feel and share our unfiltered reactions. Whether you’re a KPop fan, a horror/action lover, or just curious about crazy cinema, this review is for you.
We also debut our brand-new award system, The Golden Couchies! 🛋️ We hand out awards like:
1.The Table Lamp Award
For the character who showed up, did absolutely nothing, and vanished like they were never there.
2.Pre Christmas Socks Award
For the plot hole so big, even 20 years of friendship debates can’t patch it.
3.The “Wait, What?” Award
For the scene that made us both look at each other like… huh?
4.The Goosebump Award
For the one scene that actually gave us chills — and not just because the theater A/C was cranked.
5.The WTF CGI Award
For the computer effects that looked like someone’s nephew made them on Windows 98.
6.The Michael Bay Boom Award
For the moment with the biggest explosions, loudest chaos, or most unnecessary slow-motion shot.
7.The Wallpaper Pick
For the one frame so pretty, we’d actually hang it in our living rooms — or at least set it as our group chat background.
8.The Bathroom Break Pass
For the scene so skippable, even best friends of 20 years wouldn’t pause it for each other
And the most important awards of them all!
The Mother Approved Award
For the movie that passes the ultimate BJ in the Morning test: it’s fun, it’s solid, and it’s so rewatchable we’d even recommend it to our moms. This is the gold star seal of approval for films we think are genuinely great and worth coming back to
The Grounded Forever Award
For the movie so bad, it’s like getting grounded as a kid — you sit through it once, swear you’ll never do it again, and definitely don’t want a sequel. These are the films we’d happily erase from movie night forever.
