Is CJ Stroud the clubhouse leader for going No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft? Apr 06, 2023
    Show notes

The 2023 NFL Draft is less than a month away and front offices are putting in overtime to sort out their draft boards and figure out who to make multi-million dollar investments in.
For teams at the top of the draft, quarterback is very much front-and-center because you would not be at the top of the draft if everything was working out.
That is good news for players like CJ Stroud, Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson and Will Levis as they all expect to hear their names called very early in just a few short weeks, but only one player can go first out of that group and with Carolina moving up to No. 1, there is little drama that the first pick overall will be a quarterback. Who is on top and why? What does each player bring and what are the challenges?
Join Kevin Noon here on the Big Me Kickoff as he is joined by Ian Valentino from Pro Football Network as they go in-depth on the quarterback position in the draft.
Get out ahead of everyone else and be ready to witness the event that every football player dreams of being a part of.

Could a move for Justin Fields be a blessing in disguise? Feb 17, 2023
    Show notes

There are still several weeks before the upcoming NFL Draft but that doesn't mean that the talk is not at an all time high with the NFL season coming to completion last weekend with the Super Bowl and all talk now moving towards what is next.
Justin Fields took major steps forward this past season with the Chicago Bears but there are some who feel that the opportunity to take Bryce Young of Alabama is too great and it might be time for Chicago to move Fields off to another team and start over.
Could that move be a good thing for Fields if he lands somewhere with a line and receivers?
While we feel it is a longshot that the Bears would ever make such a move, we talk about it in this Friday edition of the Big Me Kickoff with Kevin Noon.

Never too early to talk about the rivalry Feb 16, 2023
    Show notes

We went LIVE on Thursday to answer your questions and we had a spirited talk about the upcoming 2023 Ohio State vs. Michigan game, even if it is months and months away. Ohio State has been winning on the recruiting trail but that has not translated to the field the last two games, is there a reason why?
We talk that as well as the Ohio State series cancellation with Washington in football for 2024-25, second year breakout players and so much more.

Usual suspects find themselves atop the latest SP+ rankings Feb 15, 2023
    Show notes

In this edition of the Big Me Kickoff, we are taking a look at the latest SP+ rankings that came out from ESPN’s Bill Connelly.
As expected, Ohio State and Michigan are in the top cut of teams but where does Penn State join the party? And a pair of Big Ten West teams find themselves in the mix as well at the bottom end of the top-25, but still ranked.
We also talk a little bit about Ohio State’s men’s basketball woes as the 2022-23 season continues to drag on and the Buckeyes just can’t break out of the losing rut. Will the next six game be any different than the last six games?
And Super Bowl ratings are in, and the numbers are huge. While the Buckeyes are a major draw in the college football world, the NFL numbers are next level, and we will give you some perspective as to how wide the margin in.

Hey buddy, you got change for a quarter(back)? Feb 14, 2023
    Show notes

We went live earlier on Tuesday to open up questions to our great listeners. We are talking Ohio State quarterbacks, breakout players and defensive changes. You know, just a few simple topics.
Be sure to join us five days a week here on the Big Me Kickoff and leave a five-star review for us as we answer all of your Ohio State topics.

Super Ending or Super Letdown? CFB Expansion and more... Feb 13, 2023
    Show notes

We are going five days a week on the Big Me Kickoff and today is the start of a run. We are coming off of the Super Bowl game, a game that people loved up until the point that they didn't. Was the flag justified? Even if it was a penalty, do you call it right there? We talk about that.
The SEC will be welcoming Texas and Oklahoma a year early, in line with the Big Ten bringing in USC and UCLA. What will the Pac-12 do in return? Not much if you ask me.
And so much more here as we go daily on the BIg Me Kickoff. Be sure to check it out.

Will the Buckeyes shine brightly in the NFL Draft process? Feb 09, 2023
    Show notes

The NFL Draft is still a couple of months out but that does not mean the process is not going full-steam ahead for everyone involved. The all-star games are over and attention now is turning to the upcoming NFL Scouting Combine.
We felt this was the perfect time to catch up with Ian Cummings of the Pro Football Network to get some of his thoughts about what could be coming with NFL Draft 2023.
What will the quarterback derby look like? Who is his number one right now? Can CJ Stroud accomplish something that has been a long time coming for the Buckeyes?
Ohio State has three big-time linemen in the draft on the offensive side, is there a chance we could see two come off the board on night one?
Zach Harrison may not be getting a lot of mention right now but why will that change come NFL Combine time?
    That and so much more.
And be sure to follow Ian Cummings at @IC_Draft and at @PFN365

Getting around to our Way Too Early Top-25 Feb 06, 2023
    Show notes

The final game of the college football season was a little less than a month ago and the long wait is on with there being close to 200 days until college football fills our lives on Saturdays once again.
That means it is time for way-too-early top-25 lists and we had to get ours out there. We dropped it first on BuckeyeHuddle a couple of weeks ago
https://buckeyehuddle.com/2023/01/16/noons-way-too-early-top-25-for-2023/ and got a little bit busy and never got around to the podcast.
    Until now.
It may be a little bit dated with some moves that have happened since but see who we have where and why. Who would we move if given the chance and so much more.

What exactly did we watch in that CFP Championship Game? Jan 10, 2023
    Show notes

Monday's College Football Playoff Championship Game was a tough one for Ohio State fans to watch, playing the what-if game. What-if the Buckeyes would have only held on to beat Georgia? What-if the Buckeyes would have not waited until the Michigan game to play their worst football? What if a play here or there would have just gone differently?
We look back on a difficult year for the nation's No. 4 team, a year that woulda, coulda, shoulda ended with a National Championship. Here on the Big Me Kickoff.

Dylan Raiola decommits, now what for the Buckeyes? Dec 17, 2022
    Show notes

Just days after getting the commitment of the No. 2 player in the class of 2024 the Buckeyes have lost the commitment of the No. 1 player in 2024 in quarterback Dylan Raiola. Now the Buckeyes are without a QB in that class but have a whole year to figure things out. What's the next step for Ryan Day's Buckeyes on the QB front?
