KANDI BURRUSS (on RHOA New Season, Cast Mates Past & Present & Housewives' Songs!!) May 16, 2022

Show notes

Kandi Burruss steps Behind The Rope. RHOA Legend, Kandi Burruss that is. Only three episodes into the new season, Kandi is here to chat about RHOA, Season Fourteen. How did we get here? Kandi reflects upon on her time thought the past thirteen seasons on one of Bravo’s top rated franchises, reflects upon heavy hitters who have come and gone - Nene, Cynthia, Porsha, Kim Zolciak and chats those who have enjoyed a shorter tenure - Eva, Claudia, Shamari, Kim Fields. Speaking of Season Fourteen, Kandi chats all the season’s upcoming drama we can expect from Kenya, Shereé (welcome back), Drew, Marlo (congrats on the peach) and newbie Sanya and we are so here for it. Being an actual bona fide musical superstar who has written songs, not only for her supergroup Xscape, but the likes of N’Sync, Destiny’s Child & Pink, to name a few, we had to chat Housewives’ songs - Countess Lu, Kenya Moore, Melissa Gorga, Kim Z and the budding musical career of one Candiace Dillard and get Kandi’s professional opinion! Finally, we break down Kandi’s other reality TV creds - Kandi and The Gang, The Masked Singer - spoiler alert, she won!, and Celebrity Big Brother before spilling more tea on this already epic season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Kim D. (Deep Dives RHOBH Season Premiere, RHONJ Reunion 2, & Dorit's Home Invasion!) May 14, 2022

Show notes

A RHONJ Reunion Part II and The Premiere of RHOBH! What a week and who better than to help us make sense of it all than the one, the only, Miss Kim D. That’s right? Y’all begged, borrowed and everything else under the sun for Kim D. to stay beyond RHONJ and your prayers have been answered. If you don’t think Kim D. deep diving into every week of RHOBH makes any logical sense, starting with his premiere, I have two words for you… PRESS PLAY! That is right. In true Kim D. fashion, she does not hold back in her thoughts on all our favorite diamond holders. She meets Sutton, Garcelle and Crystal for the first time, has some unpopular opinions on classics such as EJ and Rinna and, of course, has a lot to say about Dorit’s home invasion. Oh yea, we also have a RHONJ reunion to get to and, if you haven’t watched, Tre is still mad, mad mad. All this, and we are only getting started!

Christopher Gorham (on Ugly Betty, Insatiable, Vanessa Williams, Ryan Murphy & Working Shirtless!) May 13, 2022

Show notes

Christopher Gorham steps Behind The Rope. Christopher is here to talk about his decades long career starring in many of our favorite shows. From his breakout role in Ryan Murphy’s Popular to his new role starring alongside fellow Ugly Betty alum, Becki Newton, we mention it all. Christopher chats Popular, the careers it launched - his, Leslie Grossman, Leslie Bibb, and what it was like to work with Ryan Murphy before he was, well, “Ryan Murphy”. We deep dive into Ugly Betty - working with the greats like Vanessa Williams, Judith Light, America Ferrera, the cultural significance of that show and the likelihood of a reboot. Say whaat? Of course, we talk about his new role in Netflix’s “The Lincoln Lawyer” and working with Alyssa Milano on that other brilliant Netflix show, “Insatiable” - gone, but never forgotten. Finally, we talk about just why Christopher always seems to be cast in roles that require him to be shirtless. Like we said, we mention it all!

Jackie Goldschneider's "New Role", Three New RHONJ To FIlm, EJ Hands Over Diamonds, & Marlo Hampton's Peach) May 12, 2022

Show notes

What a Bravo week it has been? The RHONJ reunion has come and is almost gone, Jackie has been “demoted” as y’all like to say, Tre is still mad mad mad and we have three new women who will be filming next season, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda and Jenn Fessler. Of course, we need to clarify just who is friends with who, the definition of the word “friend” - are we being shady, and the actual likelihood that any of them will actually end up on The Real Housewives of New Jersey when it returns for its thirteenth season. Speaking of RHONJ, we break down the viral Danielle Staub parking lot video. If you have not watched it or heard of it, listen up closely as it is pure actual iconic gold in the form of one pissed AF Miss Staub, the way we have grown to love her over the years. In other news, we chat the real reason why Nene Leakes did not name Kim Zolciak Biermann in her lawsuit against Bravo and Andy, the insane Ramona Singer Summer House rumors starring an all grown up Avery Singer and the return of RHOA, Marlo’s peach and all.

Bravo's Love Match Atlanta Cast (on Season Drama, Dating Advice for Kenya Moore / Marlo Hampton, NeNe Leakes' New Man, & Patti Stanger) May 10, 2022

Show notes

Bravo’s Newest Show, "Love Match Atlanta", has finally arrived. Today we welcome Shae Primus, Ming Clark and Joseph Dixon Behind the Rope. This trio is here to break it all down as far as to what we can expect this season on Love Match Atlanta. This is Bravo after all so there is no shortage of drama and the Love Doctors mention it all! While we have three experts, we had to ask relationship advice like do’s and don’ts, drinking and fooling around on a first date, money and status, celebs most requested and all the mistakes their clients commonly make which get them fired from the matchmaking club. Being local ATL residents, we had to chat our fav Peach Holders - this current RHOA season and what they would recommend for our single friends such as Miss Kenya Moore and Miss Marlo Hampton and thoughts on NeNe Leakes’ new beau! Finally, we could not help but ask what advice, if any, they sought from Bravo’s original matchmaker Patti Stanger regarding starring in their very own love show and what are their true thoughts on their west coast predecessor. In true Bravo fashion, these three do not hold back.

MARGARET JOSEPHS (on epic RHONJ Season, Explosive Reunion & How To Move Forward With a Cast Divided) - II May 09, 2022

Show notes

Margaret Josephs steps back Behind The Rope. What a #RHONJ season! Marge is here to break down all that we have seen over the past epic season - Jackie’s brave struggles with eating, Jennifer’s aftermath of Bill’s affair, throw in some Dolo and Mel and of course, the central falling out between her and Tre regarding one Mr. Luis Ruelas. Of course, with Part Two of the reunion dropping tomorrow night, Margaret talks about what we really can expect, Andy Cohen’s frustration, House Husband walk offs, and how all of the cast's relationships will never ever be the same again. Raw and unfiltered, Margaret Josephs like you have never heard her before. Hey, it pays to be a friend of a Housewife and not some blogger looking for clout (thanks for the WWHL shout out Marge!) Finally, looking ahead to next season, we discuss where does this fractured cast, specifically her relationship with Tre, go from here and how can filming begin a “rumored” few weeks from now.

We waste no time in getting right into it today with updates on Michael and Ashley’s Divorce, Erika Jayne & Garcelle’s ongoing feud - RHOBH shout out, and the lawsuit of one miss Nene Leakes which seems to be getting stranger by the day. Meanwhile, Larsa Pippen and The Lord Scott Disick were seen hanging out in the 305 which did not please RHOM producers, Josh Flagg’s new boyfriend revealed via Instagram and LVP and Erika Jayne are fighting again. What else is new? Actually, BravoCon 2022 is new. With the announcement of the return of BravoCon later this year, we share a major announcement regarding the epic 3 day event and The Rope’s involvement!!
