We break down this breakdown, no pun - what caused it, why it happened and is this a woman who still does not understand the severity of her situation and the fact that sentencing is only a few weeks away. Speaking of Jen Shah, we discuss this season of RHOSLC, whether this franchise is able to continue without Ms. Shah and if Mary Cosby should return, and is needed, for the future of RHOSLC. We revisit the discussion about why the public has a different reaction to Jen Shah than Erika Jayne, revisit the crimes of Mr. Girardi and will RHOBH really be off pause come January. Finally, we deep dive this season of RHOP and discuss the recent legal claims being thrown around about Juan Dixon.

Show notes

All good things must come to an end. Today, our six part, six hour chat with Miss Kathryn Edwards finally concludes as we close out the RHOBH reunion and tie up all remaining loose ends as best as loose ends can be tied up in the Housewives World in which we all often live. Finally, looking ahead to next season with Diana gone, did we just say that out loud (?), Kathryn deep dives the many names which have been circulating for a possible return, shares her hot takes on all of them and discusses the likelihood of each actually joining the cast for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Season Thirteen - Denise Richards, Kim Richards, Brandi Glanville, Camille Grammer and with the record breaking sale of Château Dubrow and purchase of her sleek new Los Angeles Condo, the one and only Miss Heather Dubrow!!

RHOBH Brandi/ Denise/ LVP Rumored Return, Nene Leakes' Recent Claims Against Kandi & Candiace Dillard's Urge To Recast! Nov 17, 2022

Show notes

With all the rumors swirling about Brandi Glanville, Lisa Vanderpump and Denise Richards in heavy talks to possibly return to RHOBH next season when filing resumes in January, we dive deep into those rumors, discuss which are true, how serious these alleged talks are, how likely any will come true and will we actually find out in January or is the RHOBH pause likely to be longer than originally announced. We also address those other RHOBH current cast change rumors that Diana and Crystal are being let go, Dorit demoted to “friend” and the fate of one Lisa Rinna ever changing by the day based on her sporadic social media use. Speaking of Housewives past, we break down Nene’s recent interview in which she claims Kandi Burruss is jealous of her, part of her lawsuit against Bravo is still “active” and the fact that she is open to returning to Housewives if she can sit down with Andy and the powers that be. Finally in RHOP land, Chris Basset refutes both Gizelle and Ashley Darby’s claims of inappropriate behavior and DMs, Candiace fights back and, finally, claims that other than herself no one is bringing it and the whole show should officially be recast. All this and more so tune in now!

MICHAEL MUSTO (on Being "Read" By SJP, "Outing" Rosie/Ellen/Harry Styles(?), "Shaded" by Madonna, & "Approving" of Andy Cohen & Countess Lu) Nov 16, 2022

Show notes

Michael Musto steps Behind The Rope. Michael chats about the full trajectory of his career none the least of which was his ahead of its time legendary Village Voice column which included dish, tabloid fodder, celeb accolades and interviews with anyone who was and is everyone. Michael breaks down the process of “outing” Gay Hollywood, the hate he received for it over the years, Rosie, Ellen, Jodie Foster, where Hollywood is today on the subject, the obvious celebs who are still in the closet - oh hey there Missy Elliott and Queen Latifah and why and just who may be slipping under our radar. Did we mention, tabloid fodder? Michael also breaks down his ahead of its time blind item, how he was not only the original blogger but also an ahead of his time influencer who picked some of today’s A list names out of obscurity and what he thinks of today’s social media culture, famous for being famous, reality tv (did someone say Real Housewives and Kardashians) and the Queen or King of blind items, Deux Moi. Michael also opens up about how one of his blind items led to the investigation and ultimate arrest of now infamous club kid Michael Alig for the death and dismemberment of Angel Melendez. Michael discusses which celebs were the nicest, rudest, most upset at his hold nothing back snarky opinion in print and what current day celeb scandals keep him up at night. As all roads often do, Michael deep dives Madonna - how she, then unknown, prevented him from sound checking with his band, how he predicted she will “never amount to anything” - a statement which still gets him screamed at by M fans globally, Madonna’s current social media behavior and whether she is “trying too hard” or once again is just ahead of us all. Finally, we chat about how his friend Andy Warhol would approve of Andy Cohen being deemed the modern day Andy Warhol, how he would have wanted to appear on RHONY and be spending his days doing portraits of our good friend, Countess Luann!!

JOAN VAN ARK (on Knots Landing, RHOBH, Being a Hollywood Legend, Reality TV & Alec Baldwin!) - I Nov 15, 2022

Show notes

Joan Van Ark steps Behind The Rope. One of the most recognized names in Nighttime Soaps, 80s Icon, Joan Van Ark. Joan is best known for her role as Valene Ewing on Knots Landing, one of the longest running prime time soap operas in history. We are thrilled to have Joan here today to chat about her career, and life for that matter, in its entirety. We reminisce about all the glory that was, is, and will always be Valene Ewing and Knot’s Landing including how Joan was cast, co-stars and real life best friends Donna Mills and Michelle Lee, the other recognizable faces that popped by the worlds most famous cul-de-sac such as Nicolette Sheridan and Alec Baldwin, the fact that it spun off from Dallas and her decision to leave the show one season before its finale. Moving on from Knots, Joan opens up about the evolution of women in Hollywood from the 1980s when shows like Knots were all the rage to present day, answering questions like how far have we come and how much farther do we have to go. We also chatted with Joan about some of our other favorite shows she has appeared on like Nip/Tuck and RuPaul’s Drag Race (yes we think Mama Ru is a Knots fan!). Of course we had to chat with Joan about her thoughts on Reality TV and actresses like Lisa Rinna, Denise Richards and Garcelle Beauvais who have become Housewives throughout the years. Joan shares stories from her illustrious forty plus year career including recent run ins with Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio. Finally we chat with Joan about the current crop of television she has been binging, the current crop of “A List” actresses she puts her stamp of approval on, all the many current projects that are keeping her busy and with reboots running rampant chat, hoping to will into existence, a Knot’s Landing Reboot. Ahh, a girl can dream, can’t she. Miss Van Ark, we are not worthy!

CARY DEUBER (on RHOD's Future, RHONY Reboot, Tamra Judge's Return, Joining RHOA, & Plastic Surgery!) Nov 14, 2022

Show notes

Cary Deuber steps back Behind The Rope. Cary is here to chat about what she has been up to since we last saw her on our TV screens on The Real Housewives of Dallas. Cary chats which RHOD she is still close to, just what was that secret project her and Kameron Westcott were filming earlier this year, why did RHOD get cancelled, will RHOD ever return to our screens, if so when and does the success of RHOM help that case. We chat the newly announced RHONY Reboot and the fact that newbie Lizzy Savetsky was rumored to have also been filming the now axed Season Six of RHOD with D’Andra Simmons and Tiffany Moon, what can we expect from Lizzy once she is holding her apple and can the RHONY franchise be saved. Cary also chats running into Tamra Judge earlier this year in Switzerland, whether she thinks Tamra can “save” RHOC and what will RHOC be like with Tamra solo without Vicki. Cary also discusses the fact that RHUGT has never had a member of the Dallas cast on it and will that change anytime soon. Cary opens up about joining RHOA or M2M now that she and husband Dr. Mark Deuber have opened a branch of Lemmon Avenue Plastic Surgery in Atlanta. Finally, since Cary is in the biz, we couldn’t help but chat Housewife plastic surgery - who has had what, the good, the bad and the, dare we say, botched?
