CEDRIC MARTINEZ (on Being LVP's "Permanent Houseguest", Fall Out With LVP, Truth Behind RHOBH & Dating Lance Bass) - II May 07, 2023

Show notes

Welcome back Cedric Martinez. For everyone who has not listened to our Part I sit down with Cedric, which was re-released two Sundays ago, feel free to do so. Now onto Part II. Cedric continues to bring us behind the rosé curtain to discuss what life was like living with Lisa Vanderpump and how that living arrangement ultimately came to an end. He explains what life was then like after his time at the mansion ended and how he, ultimately, was able to move on. We also discuss, in depth, his relationship with Lance Bass. Cedric explains how he met Lance Bass, their courting, dating, the highs, the lows, and the ultimate breakup. He also lets us know the last time he spoke to Lance (the answer is not what you would think) and what Lance used to say about fellow ’NSYNC members including Justin Timberlake. Finally, Cedric gives us a rare look into his current life in London and what he would say to Lisa, Ken and Lance if he ran into each of them today. An episode not to be missed as we conclude this special two part sit down with Cedric Martinez, Behind The Velvet Rope.

RHOA & RHOC Trailers Broken Down, Scandoval Enters The White House & VPR Producers' Knowledge of Scandoval May 05, 2023

Show notes

The RHOA trailer has dropped. The RHOC trailer has dropped. Now that we have digested both of those little nuggets, we break our silence and deep dive both, analyze what we have just witnessed and share the news - some good, some bad - on what lays ahead in coming months for all our fav orange and peach holders. In other news, if you have not heard, the Scandoval has entered The White House. We break down the insanity of that statement, chat about Raquel’s current mental state in a rumored mental facility, ask whether anyone still feels bad for Ariana Madix and ponder just how, in light of recent Vanderpump Rules episodes, producers did not know the Scandoval was a brewin’ before their very eyes. Ken Todd sure seemed to. Buckle up kids. It is gonna be a bumpy ride!

CAROLINE MANZO (on RHONJ, RHUGT, Tre/Mel Breakup, Dina, Luis, Staub & Food) May 01, 2023

Show notes

Caroline Manzo steps Behind The Rope. The OG herself, everyone’s fav RHONJ, Miss Caroline Manzo is here to chat about the full anthology of her RHONJ career. Caroline reminisces about the good ole’ days - a family that is thick as thieves, table flips and, of course, letting the world know that people can be clowns. Caroline chats about season one when Tre, Staub, Dina, Jacqueline and herself had no road map to follow and were making “real” TV. Caroline also chats about the current RHONJ season - whether Mel and Tre would and could ever reconcile, her Step Niece newbie Danielle Cabral and whether this will, in fact, be Melissa and Joe Gorga’s last season on the franchise as many of the viewers have speculated. Caroline chats about her “headspace” regarding RHUGT, her thoughts on returning to RHONJ, the current status of her relationship with Sister Dina Manzo and, of course, Season Two of her epic hit You Tube show, “Food, Love and Chaos with Caroline Manzo”. JERRY SPRINGER (on an Iconic Career & Life Well Lived) - A Tribute Interview Apr 30, 2023

Show notes

Jerry Springer. A trailblazer. The first. An Icon. A man who at one time was more famous than Oprah. The Godfather of Reality TV.

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Jerry not once but twice to chat about his prolific career. Today we share both of these chats as we look back and honor Jerry’s life well lived.

Jerry chats about the full anthology of his career which, of course, includes the groundbreaking Jerry Springer Show and all those trailblazing disputes, wig pulls, accusations, cheating rumors, paternity issues and everything else under the sun that laid the groundwork for The Real Housewives of every city which we have come to know and love today. Jerry recalls highlights, outrageous guests and some of the most shocking moments. We chat with Jerry about current day Reality TV and his role in helping create the landscape of Housewives, Fiancés That Last for 90 Days and Love that Comes After Being Locked Up and / or Happens on an Island. Jerry also opens up about the current offerings of Daytime TV - Ellen, The Drew Barrymore Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Wendy Williams, Sherri Shepherd - his favorites, not so favorites and how cancel culture has come to play a role in it all. We pay homage to some of Jerry’s other forays into television - a contestant on Dancing With the Stars, a judge on America’s Got Talent, playing himself on Roseanne and his recent short lived star turn as The Beetle on Fox’s super hit The Masked Singer. Jerry reflects back on a career most can only dream of discussing highs and lows, the biggest misconceptions of himself, his legacy and how he wants to be remembered. Let’s all chant it together. Jerry, Jerry!!
