Vanderpump Rules Pause, Reunion, Cast Changes & Why Ariana May Leave VPR May 26, 2023

Show notes

You have heard of the RHONJ pause but seems we have a similar situation over on the West Coast. The Producers of Vanderpump Rules and Bravo do not know how to move forward with a cast divided, Ariana’s recent claims that she will not film with Tom or Raquel and a strong obvious desire to not lose Tom or Ariana with ratings close to two million people for the finale and current reunion episodes. Money talks and everyone has a price, but even with money, is Ariana leaving VPR and headed to greener, more relaxing pastures. With Dancing With The Stars, endorsement deals, appearances on The View, dinners at Daniel, one of New York City’s top restaurants, and an upcoming Lifetime Movie under her belt, we discuss why Ariana may be the Christine Quinn of Pump Rules ready to rise above it all. With Tom’s ability to seemingly remain unaffected, a rumored girl in every port and rock band that, after the attending the live show, is actually pretty good, we break down how Raquel, or as y’all like to call her, Rachel is the one who seems to “lose” from all things Scandoval. All this plus our thoughts on Sending It To Darrel, Poo Poo Heads, Worms With Mustaches and one epic several part reunion which is going to go down in history as some of the realest Reality TV, well, ever!

Our Attendance At Tom Sandoval & The Most Extra's Show, What We Discussed w/ Tom, & Rinna vs. Cohen Update May 25, 2023

Show notes

Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras. So much has been written about his shows but, after attending one ourself in New York City the other week, we are here today to separate truth from fiction - rumored boos, Ariana chants, cheater screams, negative signage, music, women, a revenge body with muscles galore, packed vs. empty seats and much, much more. Of course, we also met Tom and reveal what that convo was like, what we learned about the future of Vanderpump Rules, Raquel, timelines, Schwartzy, and last, but certainly not least, what is next for this booked and busy rocker that is the current punching bag du jour of Bravo fans worldwide. In other VPR news, with the finale over and reunion among us, we share our hot takes on both and deep dive what to expect next season when the show returns for its eleventh installment. Maybe. In other news, Andy Cohen and Lisa Rinna are feuding, Potomac is filming and RHOA is chugging along. Finally, we discuss our "run in" with Jackie Goldschneider last Sat at The GLAAD Media Awards in New York City, break down our table side chat with Braunwyn Windham Burke and RHONJ run in. All this and more!

MELISSA RIVERS (on Vanderpump Finale, Ariana's Exit, New RHONY Cast & Randall Scandal) May 24, 2023

Show notes

Melissa Rivers steps back Behind The Rope to help us make sense of all that is going on in our BravoVerse. The Vanderpump Rules Finale not only shocked the world and was some of the realest Reality TV ever but came in at a record season high of almost two million viewers. We analyze why people are still so invested in The Scandoval, how everyone wins from it and discuss how VPR moves forward with Ariana’s claims that she will not film with Tom or Raquel ever again. Heading east, we break down the RHONY Reboot, Melissa’s past fashion connections to RHONY newbie and former J. Crew President, Jenna Lyons, and how this franchise will fare when it premieres on our Bravo screens later this summer. Speaking of RHONY, we discuss how RHONY Legacy became RHONY Girls Trip, the return of Kristen Taekman, the exit of Jill Zarin and why Ramona Singer has way more than nine lives. Finally, we discuss the hot men of Below Deck - Captain Jason (Melissa’s crush), Fraser Olender (David’s crush) and Bruno Duarte’s move from Deckhand to Gay Porn Star (Ladies and gentlemen you have our attention). All this and much more as Melissa puts on her Bravo hat to dish it all with us!

DAVID ARCHULETA (on American Idol, Coming Out, Mental Health, Miley Cyrus & Masked Singer) May 23, 2023

Show notes

David Archuleta steps Behind The Rope. David is here to chat about his journey from a small town Utah teen, to being thrust into the spotlight at just sixteen and finishing second on American Idol to his recent appearance as Macaw on the juggernaut The Masked Singer where he, once again, finished second. David candidly opens up about his struggles with coming out, the role his faith played in those struggles, a much needed hiatus from the biz to discover himself, reconciling his faith with who he truly is, the media’s obsession with his dating life and the lows he hit growing up on a massive stage, both figuratively and literally, while trying to figure it all out. On a lighter note, we chat working with Miley Cyrus on Hannah Montana, “celebrity” and his catchy new song, “Faith In Me” which is bound to be one of the songs of the summer. On that note, cue music and press play!

JACQUELINE LAURITA (on Teresa Friendship, RHONJ Pause/Future, Caroline’s RHUGT, Juicy Joe & Her OG Status) - II May 22, 2023

Show notes

Jacqueline Laurita steps BACK Behind The Rope. One of the OG’s herself is here to, well, mention it all. Jacqueline reminisces about her time on the show - table flips, Stripper Gate, family drama and one epic fallout with the still star of RHONJ, Teresa, back when she, Tre, Dina, Caroline and Danielle Staub had no idea of what they were doing, were making authentic TV and could never have predicted what RHONJ would morph into today. Jacqueline weighs in on the current dynamics of Teresa and Melissa and Joe Gorga’s fall out, details her epic lunch reunion with Teresa which broke the internet, reveals plans her hubby and Luis have, shares her thoughts on Luis, chat Sister In Law Caroline Manzo's fall out from RHUGT, shares her opinion on whether this will be Melissa Gorga’s last season like the fans hope and want and much, much more. Like we said, Jacqueline mentions it all and holds nothing back in this nostalgic chat about RHONJ past, current season as we head into the reunion and the unforeseen future of this non stop, over the top franchise! With special guest, Kim D. That is correct, Part Two has finally arrived!

JILL ZARIN & DORINDA MEDLEY'S Ex-Assistant (on Jill, Dorinda & RHONY Past, Present, Future) May 21, 2023

Show notes

The RHONY Reboot finally has an air date of July 17th, 2023 and The RHONY RHUGT is headed back to St. Barts. In celebration of these accomplishments from the Housewives of one of our current three home towns - perhaps The Real Housewives of The Hamptons is coming next - we revisit the chat we had, back when, with Jill Zarin and Dorinda Medley's Ex-Personal Assistant. Oh yes, we have 101 questions for this fine young gentleman and he is kind enough to answer them all about his famous, or shall we say infamous, employers. What was working for each like, what was the interview process like, what is the most shocking thing he saw and heard and many, many more. Now since we know she is listening to this episode, we also want to say hi to our friend and down the street Sag Harbor neighbor, the Icon and OG herself, Miss Jill Zarin who we know is going to call us once she see’s this episode pop up in her Apple Podcast App. Cue the phone call ring in 3,2,1…

RHONY Reboot (Andy's Comments/What We Know), RHONY Girls Trip (A Deep Dive) & Our Run In w/ Phaedra Parks May 18, 2023

Show notes

Andy Cohen recently said that the newly rebooted Real Housewives of New York City is “different” having watched the first seven episodes. We analyze the word “different”, discuss new RHONY Jenna Lyons’ recent Met Gala hosting gig and discuss whether you, the audience, are excited for this reincarnation, are instead longing for The Countess in her cabaret glory to appear back on our screens or whether, as we like to say, two things get to simultaneously be true. Speaking of The Countess, we chat the, as we predicted, never happening RHONY Legacy, the newly reformatted Girls Trip RHONY and real reasons why Miss Ramona Singer is headed back to this beloved franchise despite all her claims of “legacy loser” and a new life well enjoyed. Heading to the ATL, we chat our run in with Miss Phaedra Parks, question the validity of Drew and Ralph’s divorce and weigh in on the current season - Kandi coming in hot - which is well underway. Finally, we share what we know about all the RHONJ cast changes now that the reunion is here.
