GINA SCHOCK (on THE GO GO's, Belinda Carlisle, Break Ups, Make Ups, Harry Styles & "Made In Hollywood") - II Aug 11, 2023

Show notes

Gina Schock steps back Behind The Rope. Gina is here to chat about what it is like to be part of the most famous, successful and every other adjective you can think of girl group of all time, The Go-Go’s. Gina talks early Go Go days in the LA Punk scene of the late seventies and early eighties, making their breakout first album, “Beauty and The Beat”, the height of their fame, subsequent albums, “Vacation” and “Talk Show” and the ultimate demise and initial break up of the band. Gina talks about the much publicized drug use of The Go Go’s band members, the wild antics and nights and separates fact from fiction amongst the many tall tales and public stories. Gina reminisces about the many makes ups and breaks ups throughout the decades, the on again - off again touring and how the original members - Belinda, Kathy, Jane, Charlotte and herself have achieved the near impossible remaining family and sisters though it all. Gina explains how the musical “Head Over Heels” came to be, their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, working with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez and her undying admiration and love for one Mr. Harry Styles. Finally, Gina dishes on what being a bad a$$ girl drummer means, what is next for the band and how this almost five decade long journey has been captured in her brilliant photo book “Made in Hollywood”! Part II starts now.

Tom & Ariana Reconcile Kinda, Kyle Gets Closer To Morgan Wade, & Bethenny Frankel Lawyers Up To Strike Aug 10, 2023

Show notes

Vanderpump Rules filming is underway and Tom and Ariana just had their first group scene together. We break down that scene, whether, despite Ariana’s claims, there will be any one on one alone scenes of the two, share an update on Raquel and discuss the likelihood she really won’t return at all as this season moves on. Kyle is spending an awful lot of time with Morgan Wade for someone she says she is not involved with and for someone who claims her marriage to Mauricio is just fine. We analyze those claims plus address the narrative that Kyle is producing a documentary starring Morgan Wade and ask just how is Morgan enjoying her newfound Bravo adjacent fame. Back on the east coast, we chat the new RHONY, address all the recent headlines the cast is already making and whether Bravo and the fans are happy with this rebooted franchise. Finally, we share updates on Bethenny Frankel’s strike, Lisa Rinna’s involvement and whether the B can change the face of Reality TV, it’s contracts and the treatment of talent forever as she lawyers up with some of the best in the business.

LEEANNE LOCKEN (on RHOD, Cast Mate Feuds, Andy Cohen, Her Exit & Life As a Carny) I Aug 06, 2023

Show notes

LeeAnne Locken steps Behind The Rope. I recently read an article that ranked the top Real Housewives’ Premieres of all time. The Premiere of The Real Housewives of Dallas was ranked high. In the article it explained one reason why and that reason was named LeeAnne Locken. It made me reminisce and want to share this epic chat with LeeAnne right after she parted ways with the franchise. Read between the lines, nothing was held back. Grape Kool-Aid and vodka in hand, this Dallas Diva mentions it all from growing up as a carny to the real deal behind the scenes on RHOD to cast mate feuds, break ups, make ups and more.

The Future Friendship of Ariana & Raquel, Scheana's New Hate, Erika's Rebirth & New Trouble for Luis Ruelas & Danielle Cabral Aug 04, 2023

Show notes

As the new season of Vanderpump Rules continues to film, the drama sure does not seem to be slowing down. Scheana Shay has received a ton of on line hate for doing her job, Lala has clapped back, Graham Kennedy has returned home to Daddy James, Ariana has taken time off for Love Island and Raquel’s future still seems to be on again, off again as the days and weeks fly by. Ahh, LVP sure has her hands full. Speaking of Raquel and Ariana, we take a temperature check on just how everyone is feeling about both and ask whether the tides of hate are turning for one miss Rachel Leviss. In other west coast news, Erika Jayne visits victims, has a lot to say about her famed earrings and heads to Vegas to bet it all on blond. We analyze which franchises are in need of a reboot, recap recent RHONY episodes and contemplate whether Kim and Nene should return together for an epic RHOA season. All this plus a BravoCon update.
