In this episode, Josh and Krystal walk through pivotal moments in their life where they were forced to push through hard times and determine the path they wanted to take. Josh shares the challenges he was experiencing as a rebellious teenager running away from home and testing his limits. He recounts the night his life changed when he was awoken in his bed and shipped off to Mexico for 16 months. Krystal, on the other hand, was laser-focused on creating the life she always wanted as a mother to a big family. With a DUI at age 19, she had to put in the work to get back on track to get where she wanted to be. Both Josh and Krystal share key learnings for working through tough times and choosing your own path in life.

Josh and Krystal were young, new parents figuring out how to work full-time and manage a newborn. With Krystal still cocktailing at night, they were feeling exhausted taking shifts to raise Beckham. Now pregnant with baby number two, Krystal knew something needed to change to create the destiny they both wanted. Krystal decided she needed to convince Josh to open his own brokerage. She went as far as creating a presentation to show Josh the benefits of having their own company and how she could support him with the business and still manage their growing family. Josh shares his realization that delegation is the only way you can progress in your career and he had to take the support Krystal was offering. Galindo Group Real Estate was born, and they haven’t looked back since!

With the wedding and honeymoon out of the way, Josh and Krystal were focused on their financial stability. They both knew they wanted four kids but would not be ready to start a family until they paid off their house. With their parents willing to lend the money so they can have grandchildren, Josh and Krystal end up pregnant without planning. Overcoming a miscarriage, the two knew it was time to put in effort and start to build the big family they both always wanted. Josh and Krystal address society’s expectations on pregnancy and parenting from their perspective.

In this episode, Josh and Krystal share the details of one of the most memorable days of their lives. But first they needed to determine timing which had to be the Spring wedding Krystal had always wanted. Planning and saving for a wedding mid-recession came with its challenges. They worked very hard to fill their wedding fund jar to make sure they could afford all the extravagant upgrades they wished for including a chocolate fountain, open bar and fancy cars. Josh and Krystal share how they laid the blueprint for their future in which hard work, commitment and focus has allowed them to accomplish anything they set their mind to.

Pawn Shops & Proposals Nov 16, 2020

Now that Josh knew Krystal was “the one” he had to figure out when he would get down on one knee. Krystal took a stand and made it clear she was not going to wait for Josh to make up his mind about marriage and kids. When Josh decided he wanted to propose he was determined to make it an epic proposal. After probing Krystal for the type of ring she liked, Josh explored his options at a local pawn shop. He made sure to get Krystal’s parents’ permission, promising to always take care of her. With permission granted and money borrowed to buy the perfect ring, Josh was ready to pull off a proposal in an exclusive and unexpected location. Krystal was beyond excited when the blindfold came off. Even more so when she arrived at a surprise party with all her family and friends following the proposal.

Taking It Back to How We Met Nov 15, 2020

In this episode, Josh and Krystal share the story of how they met. While Krystal was working two jobs and saving for a house and boobs, Josh was playing the field in a rented gold Jaguar trying to sell commercial real estate. He met Krystal late one night at a Las Vegas restaurant and offered to buy her a drink. Krystal was intrigued but bought her own drink as they continued the conversation. Their love began to blossom but hit a road bump when Josh started to question whether he wanted to commit to Krystal who he found to be messy and somewhat unorganized. He reached out to his mom who offered him life changing advice. It wasn’t until late one night Josh figured he had to make the life-changing decision to choose Krystal as his committed partner or continue playing the field. Throughout this experience, Josh and Krystal share tips on how to overcome conflict in your relationship and work through life’s distractions.
