Interview: Travis Irvine (Writer/Director of Killer Raccoons 2: Dark Christmas In The Dark) Apr 28, 2021

Show notes

There wasn't much to laugh about in the Summer of 2020, but then a movie swooped in to fill that mirthless void. And that movie was Killer Raccoons 2: Dark Christmas In The Dark. For a few weeks in July and August, KR2:DCD was the #1 Comedy Film in America.

In this very special interview, The Boys sit down with Travis Irvine, the brains behind the scrappy indie powerhouse that took over theaters when we needed it most. We talk to Travis about the origins of the Killer Raccoons IP, working with unsavory creatures (Ron Jeremy) and what he has in store for the third (and final!) installment of the Killer Raccoons Trilogy. (Spoiler: The B.O. Boys will die in it!)

Travis is proof positive that the scrappy indie sensibility is alive and well in American Cinema and it can lead to Box Office Success.
