The guys finished out their college basketball conference tournament previews with the MAAC, SoCon, America East, Colonial and the Summit with picks, predictions, and betting tips.
    Money line rollovers, totals and ATS angles, and analysis came your way fast and furious as the guys hit these five conference tournaments to make sure that you are fully prepared for the fun that comes your way this week. Unlike Tuesday’s show, we’ve got some more lead time on these, so that should be better for listeners.

    Handicapping the Hardwood – MEAC, Games for the Weekend of March 2-3, 2019, & Atlantic Sun Tournament Mar 01, 2019

    On the Friday March 1 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper Kyle Hunter of HunterSportsPicks.com for this week’s second Handicapping the Hardwood segment. The guys finished their conference breakdowns with the MEAC, gave some initial thoughts on conference tournaments, and then talked about this weekend’s action, including the highly anticipated Kentucky vs. Tennessee rematch, as well as the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament.
    The MEAC is the worst conference in college hoops, but we have now covered all the conferences on the show. Adam and Kyle surveyed the Pac-12 after Washington’s loss and then gave out some general conference tournament betting tips in advance of the start of those next week. Five games for this weekend were discussed, including Kentucky vs. Tennessee, Austin Peay vs. Murray State, and Nevada vs. Utah State.
    To wrap up the show, the guys discussed the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament.


    UFC Predictions with Pina – UFC 235 Las Vegas Jones vs. Smith Mar 01, 2019

    On the Friday March 1 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by Christian Pina of the Gambling Podcast and weekly contributor to BangTheBook.com for a look at UFC 235. The guys highlighted the title fights of Jon Jones vs. Anthony Smith and Tyron Woodley vs. Kamaru Usman and also looked at the other 10 fights on the card.
    Jones is a huge favorite over Smith. Is an upset possible? Will Woodley maintain control of the title? What about the rest of the card? Christian had a lot of good betting thoughts on the title fights and also on the remaining fights that are split between PPV, ESPN, and UFC Fight Pass, including his top picks on the card and some good underdog betting opportunities.


    Powers Picks – Heisman Trophy Futures & College Basketball Betting Tips for Senior Day Feb 28, 2019

Senior Day is a big talking point and Brad had some interesting thoughts for how to handle those emotional college basketball games.

The guys discussed listener questions about bankroll management by sport and also maximizing value when lines move in your favor, small conference regular season betting, and the NBA as an afterthought at this time of the year.
    Listener questions about unit sizes for different sports and hedging and middling started off the segment and the guys also discussed betting just before conference tournaments and whether or not the NBA market is yielding more value at this time of the year with so many people focused on college basketball as conference tournaments and March Madness draw near.
