    On the Monday February 10 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke went with a solo segment as a version of The Bettor’s Box to talk some MLB season win totals and betting concepts. Adam went through and talked about looking for positive and negative regression based on the standings and the alternate standings metrics and discussed some concepts that can be carried over to all sports leagues and markets.
    He talked about Pythagorean Win-Loss and BaseRuns and also about understanding the reasons why teams finished the way that they did last season and the impact it could have on the following season.

    On the Friday February 7 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by Greg Peterson of the Hoopin’ With Hoops Podcast and VSIN to chat some college basketball action for Saturday’s card and to get some overviews on some of the major conferences. After a quick discussion about Greg’s Super Bowl experience in Iowa, it was all CBB, all the time for the rest of the segment.
    Adam and Greg talked about rivalry games and if there are any differences in handicapping those games, using Michigan State vs. Michigan, Purdue vs. Indiana, Kentucky vs. Tennessee, Oregon vs. Oregon State, and Duke vs. North Carolina as the examples. They also talked about Gonzaga vs. Saint Mary’s and Northeastern vs. Hofstra to cover a wide spectrum of games for February 8.

    Super Bowl LIV was a big win for the books in Vegas, but not so much around the country. Adam and Wes talked about that and the implications of the Super Bowl going forward.     On the Friday January 31 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by Brent, the head risk manager at DSI Sportsbook for this week’s version of The Odds Report. Adam and Brent discussed the sharp action that has come in for Super Bowl 54 to this point, including side, total, and the props. Quite frankly, they just talked all things Super Bowl.
    Adam and Brent forecasted where this line could go with a lot of money yet to come in on the big game. They talked about side, total, money line, and about some of the different props that have gotten sharp action, with a focus on quarterback props and how that seems to be an indicator of what will happen with the total on the game. They spent some extra time on first touchdown scorer and MVP and Brent gave some of his own takes on the game and the approach to his live 35/1 49ers future.

    On the Friday January 31 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by Greg “Hoops” Peterson for some Super Bowl LIV talk and some college basketball betting tips for this weekend and beyond. Adam and Greg discussed Super Bowl 54, the prop bets that Greg has locked in, and how the betting action for the game is shaping up. They also discussed Ivy League college basketball and three big games for this weekend.
    Greg will actually be covering the game for VSIN in Iowa, so that was a focus of discussion during the NFL segment to talk about how different this line will look in different parts of the country. Greg shared his thoughts on the side for the game and also a few prop bets he has made.
    The guys also talked college basketball with a look at how to handicap the Ivy League with its back-to-backs on Friday and Saturday. They also hit a marquee, major conference game between Michigan State and Wisconsin, but also gave some love to the low majors to talk UNC Greensboro vs. East Tennessee State and Stephen F. Austin vs. Sam Houston State.
