Upon completion in March 2024, the Westin Atlanta Gwinnett hotel will be 11 stories, offering 348 hotel rooms, exclusive amenities, SweetSong Kitchen & Bar, Overstory Rooftop Bar with jazz brunch and special events and a full retail Starbucks® Coffee Café.
Westin is a wellness brand with a variety of amenities and programs designed for holistic health. The hotel comes equipped with a signature Westin WORKOUT® Fitness Studio with aerobic, weights, yoga equipment, Peloton™ Bikes (inventory also available for in-room use) and an indoor pool.
Rooms convey energy and vitality with stimulating artwork, airy interiors, spa-like baths and thoughtful details such as lighted makeup mirrors.
Guest rooms and suites offer wellness-enhancing amenities including second-edition Westin Heavenly Beds®, Westin Heavenly Bath® and convenient mini-fridges.
The hotel will be the first in America and only second worldwide to offer new and enhanced, second-edition Westin Heavenly Beds®.
The Westin Atlanta Gwinnett accommodates business travel in addition to leisure with spacious work desks, ergonomic chairs, electrical outlets and high-speed Wi-Fi in every room.
The property will offer two hospitality suites with outdoor terraces, one presidential suite with a private terrace, four executive suites and six standard suites.
Unique to the space and clearly visible from most points in the area, custom colored lighting on the building’s exterior gives Westin Atlanta Gwinnett the capability to illuminate any color combination to commemorate various events and occasions. As reference, the lighting configuration is similar to lighting found on Sandy Springs’ “King and Queen” towers.
Amenities
The hotel will offer a first-of-its-kind rooftop space in the region featuring the Overstory Rooftop Bar, two outdoor fire pits and water features. Sunday jazz brunch open to the public is planned in this space.
The rooftop space will offer 360 views of the region for fun and networking, beverages and small plate food offerings.
The hotel comes equipped with a signature Westin WORKOUT® Fitness Studio with aerobic, weights, yoga equipment, Peloton™ Bikes (inventory also available for in-room use) and an indoor pool.
Walk and run ambassadors will be among staff members leading wellness activities through the district.
The wellness offerings include delicious and nutritious menu offerings on the Eat Well menu, with specific menus to be unveiled in coming months.
Guests will experience complimentary, high-speed Wi-Fi.
Convenience store items will be available on-site and dry cleaning services ae available on request.
The hotel will offer electric car charging stations for guests parking on-site.
Spacious meeting and event rooms include two major ballrooms with modular space for breakout sessions.
Guest rooms include 55" Smart TVs with premium movie channels, cable, CNN, ESPN, HBO, radio and Netflix.
Guest rooms include Aromatherapy Associates bathroom amenities.
The hotel is also pet-friendly.
Specialty Dining:
The Westin Atlanta Gwinnett features a full-service ground-level restaurant called SweetSong Kitchen & Bar, focused on healthy foods with locally sourced and sustainable ingredients.
At SweetSong Kitchen & Bar, guests can expect regionally influenced dishes with fresh local fare, open breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The property includes an on-site Starbucks® Coffee Café with outdoor seating, accessible from the outdoor street level and from inside the hotel.
Overstory Rooftop Bar features fantastic 360 views and delicious crafted cocktails with special events such as Sunday brunch, dates and times upcoming.
Event and Meeting Space:
The event space within the Westin Atlanta Gwinnett hotel will accommodate groups of up to 870 attendees, plus it is adjacent to the Gas South Convention Center with additional space.
The expansive selection of 16 event rooms spans over 27,000 square feet with eight breakout rooms.
Designated event teams will help ensure that conferences or seminars run smoothly.
Working alongside the event planning teams, caterers are available to offer expertise and tailored menus to suit every occasion.
Guests may take advantage of the streamlined business facilities, Tangent™ at Westin and Clutter-Free Meetings.
Event spaces contain state-of-the-art technology and can host a variety of experiences ranging from wedding receptions to corporate retreats.
Marriott Certified Wedding Planners can help those hosting events at the hotel determine an overall vision and execute each detail. This includes setting an event budget, deciding on a menu, arranging table settings and finding florists, photographers, a band and other entertainment if needed.
In addition to the hotel’s event space, Gas South District’s 118-acre campus can accommodate a variety of events from concerts, performances, meetings, trade shows, conventions, banquets and celebrations.
The multipurpose campus includes an amazing 13,000-seat arena (Gas South Arena), an intimate 708-seat theater (Gas South Theater), 24 versatile meeting rooms, a 90,000-square-foot exhibit hall and a 21,600-square-foot ballroom (Gas South Convention Center).
