Dr. Magen earned his M.A. in education and Ph.D. in psychology from Stanford University. After serving as the research director for the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Counseling and Psychological Services, Dr. Magen founded a company that works with university and K-12 schools to prevent student suicide. He is also the founder of ParentingForHumans.com and DivorcingDads.org, which supports parents in creating strong, collaborative relationships with their children.
Dr. Magen earned his M.A. in education and Ph.D. in psychology from Stanford University. He completed post-doctoral training in child psychology and population health, and then served as the research director for the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Counseling and Psychological Services.

Tahir has appeared on HBO’s Insecure, NBC’s Brooklyn 99, ABC’s Stumptown, and CBS’s The Neighborhood.
Tahir has created a number of hit shows online. They appear on his YouTube channel which grew from 3k to over 84k in months. About the Brand: We are a black woman owned clothing brand dedicated to promoting the acceptance of autistic people. Established in 2017, inspired by my younger brother, who has ASD. I wanted to shift the word “strange” into a good word. No brain is “normal” and we should be more inclusive towards those with differing abilities, not solely because of their gifts, but because it’s a basic human right this community deserves. We help advocate for this community by spreading awareness about injustices within the black autism community. For example, Matthew Rushing’s case of being incarcerated after law enforcement ignored his ASD diagnosis, and coerced him into a plea deal. Miami Carnival's Premier Band - Party Room Squad Jul 12, 2024

The Party Room Squad was founded in 1995 by Mr. and Mrs. Carl Montes Jr. The Party Room Squad’s mission is to introduce, educate and promote the Caribbean Carnival to the younger generation in the neighborhood and to preserve the Caribbean Carnival’s traditions that were slowly eluding our new adopted culture.
The Party Room Squad assures that it emphasizes to its masqueraders the possibility of the global reach that can be obtained; that the historical roots are maintained; and a multiracial patrimony is developed to protect the Caribbean Carnival’s standing in the community. While emphasizing the history of the Caribbean Carnival, the younger generation is exposed to the different views and cultural aspects that would be unavailable to them if not for their participation with The Party Room Squad.
The younger generation is tasked to be creative and become the central focus of our current achievements. At the beginning of the Carnival season, some of the younger members of the Party Room Squad work as a team to determine the theme, colors and budget for the upcoming Caribbean Carnival Parade.
As a masquerading band, we understand both the social and the historical aspects of the Caribbean Carnival. By uniting the different age groups in the formation of teams, we create a unique Carnival culture. Information is passed on to the younger generation through mentoring, teaching and by restoring the legends of the Caribbean Carnival back to the community at large. All this will allow for the culture of the Caribbean Carnival to foster, grow and maintain itself as the spectacular showcase that it is now.
