    We're making some exciting changes! As you might know, Steve Hullfish has moved on to other projects and is no longer hosting the "Art of the Cut" Podcast. What does that mean for this feed? Over the coming weeks and months you will hear some new voices that will expand the scope of this podcast to include more of the creative process that unfolds behind the scenes on your favorite films, shows and documentaries. Along with fantastic interviews with the top editors of today, we will also bring you conversations with visual effects experts, cinematographers, production designers, directors, and many more of the top artists who are on the front lines of our industry.

    On this weeks episode of the Art of the Cut Podcast, Steve talks with the editing team behind the Zach Snyder cut of “Justice League.” The team is comprised of David Brenner, ACE, Carlos Castillon and Dody Dorn, ACE. David won an Oscar for “Born on the Forth of July.” He also edited “Independence Day”, “2012”, “The Day After Tomorrow” and the 2017 cut of “Justice League.” Carlos was an assistant editor on “Spider-Man: Far from Home” and first assistant editor on “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, the 2017 cut of “Justice League” and “Aquaman.” Dody was nominated for an Oscar for editing “Memento”, he also edited films such as “Fury”, “Power Rangers” and “Kingdom of Heaven.” Enjoy the episode!

The documentary uncovers the shocking facts and proof of the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi by the orders of the Saudi Crown Prince. "The Dissident” editing team is comprised of Scott D. Hanson, James Leche, Wyatt Rogowski, and Avner Shiloah. Scott's work includes several narrative features like "Coming 2 America" and "Dolemite is my Name." His doc credits include "Feed Evolution" and “McMillions" among others. James's previous work includes “Gilbert", "The Devil We Know" and the TV doc series "Heaven’s Gate: The Cult of Cults." Wyatt's filmography includes "Fire on the Hill", "Sweet Micky for President", and the TV series "The American West.” A partial list of Avner's filmography includes "VHYes", "Endings, Beginnings" and "The Director and the Jedi.” Enjoy the episode!
