    Angels Among Us

Real stories. Real people. Real reminders that you are never alone.

Welcome to Angels Among Us, where we sit down with ordinary people who have lived through extraordinary things.

These are stories of faith, miracles, heartbreak, hope, divine timing, and the people who show up exactly when they’re needed most. Sometimes the angels in our stories are unseen. Sometimes they’re unmistakable. And sometimes they’re simply the people God places in our path.

Our hope is that as you hear these stories, you’ll recognize the angels in your own life, feel a little less alone in whatever you’re facing, and maybe even realize that you can be an angel for someone else.

We’re Brent and Mikaela, and we’re so glad you’re here.

Go look for those angels. 🤍

    Show notes

What happens when the family you've prayed for comes through heartbreak first?

Brett and Kari share a deeply personal journey through infertility, pregnancy loss, grief, and ultimately hope. After losing twin girls and later triplet boys through miscarriage, they found themselves navigating questions no parent ever wants to ask. Yet in the middle of unimaginable loss, God continued to place people, moments, and miracles in their path that reminded them they were never alone.

In this powerful conversation, Brett and Kari open up about the pain of losing five babies, the unexpected ways Heaven brought comfort, and how their faith carried them through some of the darkest moments of their lives. They share stories of answered prayers, remarkable coincidences, the angels who surrounded them during their grief, and the beautiful family they have today.

This episode is a tender reminder that even when life doesn't make sense, God is still present. Even in loss, there can be peace. And even through heartbreak, hope can bloom again.

    S2 Ep37: A Broken Foot For God -- Dalton Williams May 20, 2026
    Show notes

What if one painful accident was actually part of God’s plan to change someone’s life forever?

While serving as a missionary in Germany, Dalton suffered a devastating foot injury during a soccer game. Doctors were convinced he would need multiple surgeries and might be sent home early from his mission. But after a priesthood blessing and a night of fervent prayer, the next day’s X-rays revealed something no one could explain: his injuries had shifted into exactly the right position to heal naturally.

The physical healing was remarkable, but the greater miracle came when a skeptical radiology technician—who openly declared that he did not believe in God—was deeply moved by what he witnessed and agreed to learn more about Jesus Christ.

Dalton shares how God can use even our most painful experiences for a higher purpose and reminds us that we are never forgotten. As he beautifully testifies through Book of Isaiah 49:16, “I have engraven thee upon the palms of my hands.”

If you have ever wondered whether God sees you, knows you, or can use your trials for good, this episode will strengthen your faith and fill you with hope.
