    Pres. Trump says CDC director doing a “very good job” May 21, 2020

    Despite CNN’s reporting that Dr. Redfield, the CDC director, is on the hot seat, Trump says he’s doing a “very good job.” Kathleen Sebelius, former Secretary of Health and Human Services, tells Anderson Cooper it’s a terrible time for tension with the CDC, who are “gold standard epidemiologists.” Plus, as many fans are desperate for sports to return, Charles Barkley, former NBA player and Turner Sports analyst, is hosting “The Match” to raise money for COVID-19 relief.     Pres. Trump defends use of hydroxychloroquine, says it “doesn’t harm you” May 20, 2020

    Despite the FDA’s warning of serious side effects from taking hydroxychloroquine, the President of the United States has defended his decision to take the drug. David Holtgrave, a lead researcher in a hydroxychloroquine study, tells Anderson Cooper in their study they didn’t find a statistically significant benefit of the drug in terms of death rate or abnormal heart rhythms. Plus, Dr. Eric Topol, a cardiologist, adds that there is no sign of any efficacy by taking the anti-malaria drug but there is a sign of significant hazard.

    President Trump says he’s taking hydroxychloroquine to prevent COVID-19 May 19, 2020

    The President of the United States says he’s taking hydroxychloroquine to prevent coronavirus, despite the FDA warning it could have harmful side effects.     Trump: Dr. Fauci's comments on schools reopening "not an acceptable answer" May 14, 2020

    Dr. Anthony Fauci testified in front of a Senate committee that some schools shouldn't reopen in the fall and President Trump called those comments "not an acceptable answer." New Jersey has been one of the hardest hit states in the country. Democratic Governor Phil Murphy joins AC360 to discuss what he plans to do about schools and universities in his state next fall. Plus, a mystery illness similar to Kawasaki disease that is believed to be related to COVID-19 is now affecting children. Roup Hardowar is the father to 8-year-old, Jayden, who nearly lost his life due to a mysterious illness. Jayden's older brother helped perform CPR on his brother until EMTs arrived.     Fauci: States could face serious consequences if they reopen too early May 13, 2020

    President Trump ends news conference after contentious exchange with reporter May 12, 2020

    President Trump abruptly ended his news conference after a Chinese American reporter asked him why he always says the U.S. is doing far better when it comes to testing for than any other country. "Maybe that's a question you should ask China, don't ask me, ask China that question, OK?," Trump told the reporter. Plus, the biotech company Regeneron says it will start clinical trials for a possible COVID-19 treatment.     At least 43 states expected to partially reopen despite death toll continuing to rise May 07, 2020

    Many states are beginning to lift their stay-at-home orders and reopen restaurants, stores and other public spaces.
