Alpha 8 — Fiction
Alpha 8

A desperate alien. A struggling mom. One life-changing swap that flips a family upside down.

Alpha 8 is an award-winning sci-fi audio drama that blends E.T., The Princess Diaries, and a Freaky Friday twist into a heartfelt adventure about identity, parenthood, and second chances.

When an extraterrestrial being secretly swaps places with a human mother, both worlds spiral into chaos. The alien must learn the meaning of family to save her species from extinction — while the real mom fights to escape, return home, and protect the people she loves. Government secrets, emotional discovery, and unexpected humor collide across two seasons of cinematic storytelling.

Rich sound design, original music, and an ensemble cast bring this world to life — immersive from the first episode.

Starring Richard Leacock, Jasmine Ashanti, Jessi Mechler, Todd Gajdusek, Cameron Elie, Malachi Josiah White, Sydney Thomas, Sam Gipson, and Jake Farrago.

Created by award-winning writer Stephanie Elie. Sound design by Xperience J, original music by Steven Bias, story editing by Jake Farrago. A Bizzie Media Group production.

Introducing: The Madness of Chartrulean Jul 13, 2026

Show notes

This week, we're handing the mic over for a feed swap with The Madness of Chartrulean — a character-driven sci-fi epic for fans of Dune, Foundation, and Game of Thrones.

A fallen messiah races to stop his own technology from dooming the world he meant to save — while facing alien invaders, political foes, and the collapse of his own mind.

The Jhardeho Order named him messiah. He defected anyway. When Chartrulean chose progress over piety, he split the world in two — and now he's haunted by the cost of that choice, fighting to reconcile with the gods and kings he angered before the madness he created consumes him.

Blending political drama, Shakespearean tragedy, and mythic futurism, The Madness of Chartrulean features a cast of 50+ voice actors from five continents, cinematic Dolby Atmos sound design, and an unflinching portrayal of mental illness — including CPTSD, anxiety, and DID. Written from a woman's perspective, the show is part of a growing wave of creators championing women and neurodivergent voices in sci-fi and fantasy.

Vol. 1 is available now — 13 episodes, 8+ hours of story, plus bonus content. Vol. 2 is actively releasing.

Introducing: UN-TITLED Jan 13, 2026

Show notes

Happy 2026! To kick off the year, we’re bringing you our very first feed swap of the season.

Alpha 8 Update

We’ve officially wrapped our festival run for Season 1! A massive thank you to the team that helped bring this world to life. We are currently in the home stretch of writing Season 2 and are actively looking for brand sponsors.

Want to partner with us? If you know a business or brand that fits our world, please reach out via Email or Instagram DM.

Today’s Featured Show: UN-TITLED

Today, we’re sharing a fellow scripted comedy that is perfect for your post-holiday binge. UN-TITLED is a "Middle Ages midlife crisis" story following Failyn, a squire who is quite literally "too olde" for this.

While Failyn schemes for his long-awaited knighthood, he has to contend with an annoying wunderkind on the rise—the future King Arthur.

The Vibe: A comedic twist on the Sword in the Stone myth. Think the bitterness of Amadeus or Richard III meets the dry humor of The Office and Blackadder.
The Commitment: Season 1 is just 6 episodes plus character shorts (about 3 hours total). It’s the perfect length for a weekend road trip or—if you’re like us—finally packing up those holiday decorations.

Support the Show: The UN-TITLED team is gearing up for Season 2 and looking to grow their community! If you enjoy this episode:

Bonus: Meet Daniel Aug 21, 2024

Show notes

Cameron Elie brings Daniel to life in Alpha 8. Fun fact: the entire concept of Alpha 8 actually began with Daniel—or more accurately, with Cameron, the actor behind him. I'm thrilled that Cameron could join our cast for this audio drama, and it’s been great to see him reconnect with his on-set dad from another show. Thank you, Cameron, for being an essential part of Alpha 8!

Bonus Episode: Meet Taryn Aug 07, 2024

Show notes

Sydney Thomas voices Taryn in Alpha 8. She's Jackson big sister and she's really trying to figure out who she wants to be and how close she wants to get to Larson. Fun fact Sydney and Cameron use to dance at the same dance studio when they were younger!

Bonus : Meet Jackson Aug 02, 2024

Show notes

Malachi White voices Jackson in Alpha 8. I love having two boys in the series who are the same age but have different personalities. Jackson is the "cool" kid who loves sports and video games (as long as they are sports-related). He jokes around a lot with Daniel, but at the end of the day, he will always have his back.
