We Flew to California for Sleeping Giant Jul 05, 2026
    Show notes

Gary and Tyler recap their weekend in Pomona, California for the Sleeping Giant reunion shows at The Glass House. From traveling with their wives and meeting online friends in real life, to merch line chaos, pit injuries, guest vocalists, and powerful moments of worship, this episode covers the full experience of two unforgettable nights.

They talk through the bands, the crowd, the Christian heavy music community, the return of Sleeping Giant, and what made the weekend feel less like just another concert and more like a reunion, a pilgrimage, and a reminder of why this music matters.

    Interview: Propositions May 18, 2026
    Show notes

On this episode of All Consuming Podcast, we hang out with Justin from Propositions to talk about his new song “Death Plan” featuring Unworthy.

Justin breaks down what it looks like to be the one-man force behind Propositions, writing the riffs, vocals, bass, drums, and bringing songs as far as he can before handing them off for that final production push. We also get into the origin of Propositions, how grief and loss helped push him toward creating heavy music, and how bands like Pipebomb helped him realize he could build something powerful on his own.

The main focus of the episode is “Death Plan”, a heavy, deathcore-leaning track centered on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Justin talks about the song’s meaning, how the title came from his son, and how the feature grew from a vocal spot into having most of Unworthy involved in the track.

We also talk about Christian heavy music, bold gospel-centered lyrics, the difference between being a Christian band and Christians in a band, the Heavy Collective, group shouts, dream tours, Bloodlines, Sleeping Giant, Holy Name, and why this scene still feels like a place where worship and heavy music can collide in a real way.

Stream “Death Plan” by Propositions featuring Unworthy, and then come hang out with us for the conversation behind it.

    Cold Streets Jan 22, 2026
    Show notes

In this episode, Tyler and Gary sit down with pop-punk band Cold Streets to talk about how the band formed out of longtime friendships, shared faith, and a love for early-2000s punk influences like MXPX, Relient K, and Blink-182. The band discusses their songwriting process, the making of their new single “Over and Over” and its music video, and how their sound naturally leans toward nostalgic, melodic punk. They also share plans for their first full-length album, reflect on what it means to be Christians in a band without labeling themselves a “Christian band,” and keep the conversation light with stories about tours, influences, and fandom moments.

    Core Values | 31 - New music, old music Aug 01, 2025
    Show notes

In this lively and deeply nostalgic episode of All Consuming Podcast, the hosts catch up on long-overdue shoutouts, swap hilarious stories (including one about a cat-poop-eating dog), and dive deep into the evolving landscape of Christian metal and hardcore music.

The discussion weaves through classic pop-punk nostalgia with bands like Hawk Nelson to heavier sounds from bands like We Came As Romans, 6 feet deep, and Big Boy. The hosts reflect on how their tastes have changed—moving away from overproduced metalcore toward raw, emotional hardcore—and share a strong appreciation for the authenticity and grit in bands like The Wounds That Speak, a newer Christian metalcore band from Colorado with a powerfully gospel-centered message.

Also highlighted are newer releases from Wolves at the Gate and Confessions of a Traitor, along with a nostalgic mention of Phinehas’ album The Fire Itself as a standout example of true modern metalcore.

Expect laughs, laments, and lots of genre talk—plus a passionate encore shoutout to Six Feet Deep. If you’re a fan of raw, honest Christian heavy music, this episode is for you!
