Memorial Day Message from AFA May 22, 2018
    Show notes

"Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them."

This Memorial Day, we reflect on these words by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and remember our brothers and sisters in arms who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation.

Today – and every day – we offer our sincere gratitude to our fellow Airmen, Soldiers, Marines and Sailors who laid down their lives in the name of freedom. We remember the families and loved ones of these heroes and stand beside them in solidarity.

It is because of their courage that we continue to live freely.

I hope you take time this Memorial Day to pause and think about all of our fallen heroes. May we never lose sight on the meaning of this day and hold on tight to the memory of those we have lost.
