    Show notes

Today on the program, I sit down with Boston based drummer and educator, Zeke Martin. When Zeke isn’t playing at one of the many venues around Boston, you can find him teaching drums at Northeastern University. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Zeke about his unique journey as a professional drummer. From losing his father at 7, and his mother at 17, Zeke chose to go after his dreams and carve out a life for himself in Boston. I hope you enjoy the episode!

    #15 Brandon Luciano 2 part 1 - “I Shot My Shot” Jun 25, 2019
    Show notes

Today on the program is the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Brandon Luciano. You remember Brandon… The guy from episode 2. Every time we get together to talk we have too many beers and end up taking 3 or 4 pee breaks. So, to make this more digestible, I have broken it up into separate episodes. Like the last time, Brandon and I cover a very wide range of topics such as meeting your idols, fame, my story about the night Tom Petty died and much more.

#12 Dave Fox - “Whatever it is you do…. Better pick something you like” Jun 04, 2019
    Show notes

Well folks, I’m back from my adventure the wonderful country of Ireland and today on the podcast I am joined by a badass Boston based drummer named Dave Fox. I hesitate to call Dave just a drummer because he is so much more than that. He’s an educator, a touring musician, family man, and an inspiration for many players in the Boston area including myself.

Dave and I sit down in his home for a chat about growing up with music, learning the hustle, the Boston music scene and much more. This was truly a pleasure.

He was the saxophonist and one of the founding members of the former Boston based rock and soul band Love in Stockholm. Dave has invented his own language. He is the only one that speaks Dave Carroll, but it is a language non the less. This episode was recorded after the super bowl this year and it was a whole bunch of fun. Enjoy!!
