    ACB Braille Forum

    Volume LXV • July-August 2026 • No. 1

This issue features a lot of articles about the convention in St. Louis.

Do you want to learn more about advocacy? Check out Grace Hart's article, "Advocacy at Convention." And don't forget to sign up for Advocacy Boot Camp.

Janet Dickelman's article, "Last-Minute Convention Information," points out the change in providers of wheelchairs and scooters; elaborates on how to get assistance at the airport; the importance of wearing your convention badge; plus important tour information, including where the tour buses will pick up and drop off; registration details; and how to join the convention from home.

Deborah Armstrong compiled a number of useful travel tips from members and staffers who have been to many conventions. If this is your first time, or first time in a while, be sure to read "Travel Tips from ACB Leaders."

Amanda Selm introduces this year's scholarship winners in "The Future Is Bright: Meet the 2026 ACB Scholarship Winners."

This issue's Affiliate News includes national convention information from the following affiliates: AABT, AAAVIA, ACB Lions, BITS, BRL, FIA, and GDUI. It also includes information about the joint Indiana-Ohio convention, which will take place in October.

Ardis Bazyn shares the information gleaned from a membership committee meeting that focused on how to keep members engaged and completing the tasks that need to be done between meetings.

And yes, "Here and There" is included.

There's an article for everyone in this issue, just waiting for you to discover. Enjoy!
