A Murder at the End of the World - Interview with Javed Khan aka Rohan Dec 22, 2023

Show notes

Today, we have the amazing opportunity to chat with Javed Khan, who plays Rohan, the mysterious climatologist and close friend of Bill in A Murder at the End of the World.

We chatted with Javed about a wide range of subjects from his unusual path to acting in this unique murder mystery to signs from the universe and more - and of course all about his role as perhaps the only entirely tech free character on this technology filled show.

This episode will include spoilers for new viewers as we discuss the show to date, which is through the finale of Season 1.

And since you enjoy Javed’s work so much, be sure to check out his other work - Lapwing, 7 Welcome to London, and many more - check out his IMDB if the characters on this collage intrigue you as much as they did us.

The Handmaid's Tale - Character Analysis: Serena Joy Waterford Nov 10, 2023

Show notes

Today we drop the third episode of our character analysis series. On this episode, we’ll be discussing the beautiful and complicated (or is she?) Serena Joy Waterford on The Handmaid’s Tale television show on Hulu.

The show has given us so much of Serena’s story over its 5 seasons, including flashbacks from before Gilead, and even how Serena might act if given the option of a free life in Canada. We really enjoyed discussing it all, as well as the many different favorable and unfavorable traits of her character.

Whether you agree or disagree with our discussion, come find us on social media and share YOUR thoughts! We’d love to hear them and we post new content daily while we wait the long wait for Season 6. So come find us on Instagram and Twitter….err X! And come back in early January for our next episode analysis - on another fan favorite, Commander Joseph Lawrence!

In the meantime, enjoy the holiday season, and if you find yourself bored, we’ll be discussing A Murder at the End of the World on our non-Handmaids podcast, “Above the Garage TV Podcast,” wherever you listen to podcasts! It’s the lil icon with us watching tv on a couch.

The Handmaid's Tale - Character Analysis: Nick Blaine Oct 20, 2023

Show notes

Today we drop the second episode of our character analysis series. On this episode, we’ll be discussing Nicholas Blaine, a controversial character to many but one of our favorites on The Handmaid’s Tale television show on Hulu.

We got to know Nick as a driver for the Waterford’s long before he was promoted to Commander in Season 3 - and to us he’s primarily June’s friend, lover, and father to their baby Holly/Nichole. There are a lot of complications the show has thrown at him, attempting to prevent him from focusing on those roles that are most important to him, but his heart at least never seems to falter from its ride or die love for June.

Listen to our thoughts on these complications, his motivations by season, and all the aspects of this broody romantic in this episode.

Whether you agree or disagree with our discussion, come find us on social media and share YOUR thoughts! We’d love to hear them and we post new content daily while we wait the long wait for Season 6. So come find us on Instagram and Twitter….err X! And come back in THREE weeks for our next episode analysis - on one Serena Joy Waterford.
